Ruby, 05 Sep 2016I would never associate HTC or Motorolla with "Quality." ... moreBecause you never owned a HTC or Motorola. HTC sense is way better than Touchwiz. Motorola has a bloatfree stock rom, wich every samsung user dreams of.

Apple is Just on another level.

Samsung.....That's what you get for a gross incompetence in regards to not properly testing an expensive phone such as the Note 7 before release, I hope they have learned their lesson this time, I'm sure other phone manufacturers will also learn from this... . Test your products properly before release.

Samsung should just focus on building airconds or refrigerators. Just farking get lost in making anymore phones for godsake!
They have no idea what they are doing in the mobile industry.
Failed batteries, huge bezels and poor laggy Touchwiz.
HTC and LG should take lead of the mobile industry.
So far their products have been problem free.

If they had a changeable battery by user, it would cost pretty less!!! And it was for me better with extra battery kit etc.

Well, at least Samsung recalls their devices when there's a problem with them. Have fun all you iPhone 4 users with not being able to make phone calls. Oh, not to mention the 6's bendgate, and if it didn't break by bending, touchdisease WILL reach your device, and Apple doesn't even claim it exists, so why would they recall any devices?

Good on them. This'll teach them not to release sub-par products.

                Or not.

Samsung is a cheap quality company. This is not the first time their phone had issues. Their this year's galaxy s7 active weren't active at all too. Samsung doesn't Care about the quality. They only care about gimmicky features.

AnonD-462236, 05 Sep 2016thanks God, i always stayed away from Scamsung for good, it... moreSo you still diss them when Samsung is losing a billion dollars out of this and for taking full responsibility that had less than 40 devices affected out of 2.5M? You know nothing about being honorable. HTC plagued the One M7 with a purple-tinted camera. They never did anything like this and those were affected at a much greater rate.

Unlike CrApple which also uses batteries from China and told iPhone 4 users about Antennagate we are holding it wrong until they patched it up with a free case. Samsung is giving you an entirely new device! That's 2.5M wasted for a few affected devices. That's being noble when the going gets tough. Learn it before getting ripped off by other companies who would usually just slip this underneath the rug.

I hope what Samsung learns from this and brings back removable battery. They would've saved more money had it just been a new battery being offered. The Note series is a productivity device. Not a "planned obsolescence fashion accessory" like iPhones.

Ironically, the China batteries were fine.
In fact I believe it was the MADE IN KOREA batteries that exploded.

"China is not affected by the sales suspension. The company said it used a battery made by another supplier for the Note 7s sold in China."
