Duel, 29 Oct 2010"symbian has better multitasking than any other OS&quo... moreBy the way, what open background app make's that need for speed laggy that much? i dont see anything special there, very normal background use, except background music while playing :)

If you want to play big game you need to close all the apps before? And you call that for best multitasking? for me that's not very good way to handle multitasking on phone

Better and "better" It's all about what you like, for example i don't want phone which chokes when i have opened apps/games background and have to close the opened apps all the time.

this is good example about N8 multitasking http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23Of-Mk9af4

you have one big game on background and few little apps and phones choked

My phone i can background a lot of stuff (including heavy games) and phone always works fast and smooth and i never need to close the apps. that's the way i like it.

Duel, 29 Oct 2010"Out of the box" is good, but being able to easil... moreu prefer software than hardware..some likes hardware with basic simple usabilty..simple IOS cant support memory slot..its a big drawback even though ios is good..apple iphone doesnt do anything from out of the box..it needs application for all the things to be done..i prefer android over ios which has many restrictions..its not that others want what i prefer..so no use of negative comments..

Their UI is outdated, laggish, an crap. Looks like a phone from the middle-ages. Besides, thanks for the HDMI. That's very useful for my daily life.

For those who do not understand that IOS and Android can not and will not manage any time to have a browser with flash content. When you have this feature then compare and yet something even flash on your home computer behaves badly.

[deleted post]Volvo is not a better or safer car than any other modern car today, and they break down, or spontaneous burst into flames..., just as often as any other modern car today.
Symbian can do "everything" but it does everything worse than Android... Android can do anything that Symbian 3 can do, and even USB on-the-go can be built in to Android-phones if users really demand it, it is not a limkitation of the Android os as the 360x640 is a definitive limitation of the Symbian os.
Not having qwerty in portrait is really bad, 3.5 inches is more than big enough for big hand use of a full qwerty in portrait, aleast let the user choose.

TSH, 29 Oct 2010Good post, and great to see you're obviously not a fanatic!... moreNokia phones can not handle full Adobe Flash 10.1, only flashlite. N97 or any earlier Nokia-phone can not really multitask because the built in memory is to small, and on my old N97 mini even Opera Mobile often runs out of memory and crashes.

Having most apps and games in one store is a much more userfriendly choice, and makes all programmers make their software available in that one store.
