Linas, 12 Sep 2016I found it amazing that 35 cases reached such worldwide pub... morehas nothing to do with that because other wise no body could get quick chargers approved by qualcomm ...... we have to accept that these are defective units like with many companies iphone 4 issues with anthena .... lg g4 issues with bootloop ... many people said a lot of things about it .... and now note 7 and you know why people care a lot and why people talk about these issues a lot because these are the flaghship devices that a company offer to their customers .... if u get issues like this on low end or mid range no body cares by much but with latest and greatest is something unacceptable because the company charges you a lot for 1 piece and you expect the best of it not the worst of it .... and this is only the result of rush looking for who wis and who is the best ,,,, instead of being careful with their products specially flagships.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2016Agree with you totally. Samsung deserve what is coming due ... moreLOL u totally agree to other's sarcasm? XD

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2016Samsung is in no danger of that. They have revenue greater ... moreJust because they have a huge revenue doesn't warrant trying to extort money out of them.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2016See, that's what happen when you use non-removable battery.... moreAgree with you totally. Samsung deserve what is coming due to their greed. By sealing the battery inside the phone, they have lost their reputation, has to replace the total phone and made people not confident buying other samsung products.
I will consider my next samsung phone when only there is replaceable battery.

And here is another American machinery propaganda against companies in other countries: Nokia, Volkswagen, Sony, Samsung. Has anyone noticed this yet? They are killing other companies by doing every kind of shit, spreading bad news, and making companies in other countries look bad and their companies look great!

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2016Wonder if these fast-charging gimmicks could be the cause o... moreit could well be the fast charging cuz if we think about it its a chip that forces power into the battery , there are no special batteries its just usual ones beying forced,
my note 3 doesnt have fast charge but i used once a charger of 3A 5v and it charged in 30 to 40 min , now the thing is this is very dangerous and in the end acttualy the battery lasts lesser time
My note 3 using a 1A charger to 10% lasts double the time than with 3A 10%

Muthu , 12 Sep 2016My 2 cents - note 7 is a proven disaster for Samsung. That ... moreAre you out of your mind? If a phone catches fire on airplane, the amount of panic will scare the shit out of crew and passengers, not even mentioning the worst case scenario... Only a single case is enough for US to block Samsung form selling products and open the flood doors for multi million dollar lawsuits from individuals, insurance companies etc.

Note 7 is a great phone, other than battery issues ofc, but it should be immediately pulled back from market

Samsung should find out the problem and solve it as soon as possible. Is it the chip-board or battery have faulty or defect in design or anything else?

Wonder if these fast-charging gimmicks could be the cause of this rather than the battery itself...then again, other smartphones do offer fast charge and we haven't heard of any problems..very weird stuff

Linas, 12 Sep 2016I found it amazing that 35 cases reached such worldwide pub... moreMy 2 cents - note 7 is a proven disaster for Samsung. That is why they have announced the recall program. Otherwise they would not have done that. No point in defending note 7 (Samsung fanboys or not). When Samsung itself is not bothered on defending it, why should others bother?

This particular S7 edge case looks suspicious at best. But we can't conclude anything on it, until we get more information.

AnonD-491243, 12 Sep 2016I don't believe his burns are fake. I believe the pone expl... moreit's not even that... i find it hard to prove after 4+ months that it was the phone itself that did the dmg, even if he kept it (u know, a souvenir?) i'm prettu sure the hospital report won't say "due to a phone catching fire" so it's more like this man has to prove it was a S7 rather than samsung proving it wasnt
either way, even though the news sounds extremely fishy, it can be true (for now we can't know for sure) but i'm just too sceptical...
