Samsung will definitely not ignore any such incidents , for at least some time now.
It's not just loss of money, but a market reputation. Samsung is one major supplier to many mobile manufacturers, which they can never afford to loose.
And this is serious coz it has happened in its own flagship gadgets.
I feel sorry for the guy and all those affected ones. Such incidents can never be for just media milage.it's serious.

This is true, he's our neighbor next door. It's sad that it happened to him so suddenly. He's ok now coz his company paid for the expenses and he got insurance. while samsung doesn't care as long as they got the money.

In hindsight, samsung would've been much better off had they skipped releasing a new Note this year and instead synced it with the S8 announcement next year.

I never been an anti-samsung person, and this might happen to any of brand in the market. However happening to samsung is more fair since samsung paid a lot for "what so called marketing" knowing that it wasn't marketing at all (paying money to websites and reporters is not marketing) which caused companies to close and people went jobless. Maybe this is simply justice.

If it's true , we should be cautious. It will be applicable to all the brands.Not only Samsung.because most of the manufacturers follow the same rules when they build their mobile. Even iPhone, Motorola, htc, Sony..... Any other brand out there.
