BTW until now I've still using my old almost 3 years old Nokia N95 8GB (and all other my phones was Nokia and few SE phones), coz I've all this time still waiting new, good for reasonable price Nokia high end phone.
And this news glum me... .
Again.... Nokia E7 have to be on sale for even lower price like a Nokia N8! Coz functions and camera quality, weight!
YOU ARE REAL ROBBERS NOKIA!
P.S. Look at high end other co. phones price like (Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung S8500 Wave,
HTC Desire HD).

Alas, another delay. Why am I not surprised by this? Nokia has seriously need to do something about their top management. They are really inefficient and ineffective. Talk about the combination of the two worst factors.

No DivX player
No xenon flash
No autofocus
CPU just ARM 11 680 MHz processor
Video recorder just 25fps...
... anddd... even 176 g!
BTW I am think that photo quality will be same like a Nokia C6-01 and the Nokia C7! link:

bye bye Nokia, i guess we will never see you again. your n8 was a flop. now e7 is so damn expenisve for no reason with hardware less updated then most mobile phones out in the market. also each time you announce a new product, you release it when it is outdated. Nokia and SE should not be making any smarthphones anymore they should just stick to provide products and services for the elderly who just likes to make call and pay less than $50 for a mobile phone.

Cannot be said enough:
Leaving out the ability to focus and record any documentation other than a white-board turns what would be an otherwise stellar business device into just another over priced optional multimedia teen widget.
That is unless the USB-on-the-go was included to make it possible to attach your handy dandy pocket scanner to your phone. Ah well - maybe the mythical N900....

For the record, response towards the N8 has been lukewarm at best. It hasn't been in short supply at all.

The n8 cost 600 euro when released in some countries. In my opinion it is not worth it. The E7 will become available sometime in february for store purchase and will cost around the same.
I wanted to buy the n8 originally but with all the delays and software issues i decided to hold back. Too little too late in my opinion and i'll be keeping an eye on other smartphones as well. There is just too much going on in the smartphone world with the release of windows phone 7 and android 2.3 gingerbread and lets not forget the ever growing app ecosystem of the ios 4.2

Nokia stated the 500euro price BEFORE tax. VAT in the UK runs at 17.5% soon to rise to 20% which explains the majority of the price-hike, that and expansys capitalizing on the lack of availability.

Then comes the depression and demand drops. Companies start cuts by lowering both their buffers and output. Component manufacturers get double hit because their demand suffers even more from change in buffers. Because of the low margins, they haven't got any other choices than firing trained workers and closing down capacity.
When the demand recovers the capacity isn't there anymore and it takes lot more time to build back than it took to destroy.
