If this situation had affected any other smartphone company, it would have likely meant the end of its mobile business. So at the very least Samsung can be grateful it has such a wide-ranging and profitable portfolio that is capable of picking up the slack. Samsung will get back on track, but it will take some time to fully recover.

How a company known for manufacturing expertise could have missed such a critical product flaw twice. Samsung originally blamed one battery supplier for the problems and switched to an alternative company, but that did not end the problems.

Someone Else, 11 Oct 2016Here comes the awful and cheezy jokes about the Note 7. Sigh....Suuuure! So it's ok for Shamesung boy toys to troll every phone out there even if they never touched or owned one. But when we make fun of you for something that is REAL and effing DANGEROUS, you feel you're under attack. Karma is a b...h huh?
Now it's all over the news. NOBODY will buy their phones after this!
R.I.P. Shamesung!

Very sad indeed to hear it. It now play into iPhone hand. Surely others will take advantage of the situation. Some quarters at Samsung should take responsibility on this fiasco.
