I just hope Samsung will take time to investigate issues with note 7 in detail.
It's not about Samsung cancelling a product or bashing this company but they need to investigate this on their own

Also, more time and effort to put into their next phone and speed up Nougat for their current flagships :D

No problem. Just increase the price of their chips supply to other companies by a little and they'll recover all their money.

Well, this is rather shocking news for me. But, it is a wise decision. I say, why waste resources to fix something that nobody wants rather than focusing to the next big thing, the Galaxy S8. I'll be waiting :)

This is what happens when you try skip a model number (Note series skipping the 6 and going on with the 7)

Definitely the right decision - as sad as it is to hear. There's always next year where if they're smart, they can blow the competition out of the water. It's also suggest starting a new nomenclature like Google did with the Pixel, a fresh start is always welcome. Good luck.

mir, 11 Oct 2016This is the perfect time for all the competitors to launch ... moreYeah, the Pixel would benefit especially, since it just launched. Pretty much the best gift Samsung could've gave to Google's new phone.

Ouch! That's gotta hurt!
I wouldn't wanna be a Sammy boy toy right now.. :))
I was mocking them for the very easy to brake displays and USB ports but this is on a whole different level.
And with 1 billion going down the drain, even they will have problems getting over it.
By the way, it's all over the news. NOBODY will buy Samsung devices after this!
