Metals expand when heated.
Problem with note 7 was the heat in fast charge caused so much heat that the battery terminals expanded causing them to short and the lithium became its own resistor and whooshka...explosion
We probably will see a revision to quick charge in future phones but this note 7 is RIP!

As an iPhone user & avid iOS "fanboy" this is still sad news. The Note 7 almost made me switch! I hope the Note 8 & the S8 series is something really special now!

Its been 5 years since galaxy S2 ,sammy fooling people
with their over gimmick marketing advertisement.
If $350 other brand flagship was performance comparable to $900 galaxy phone price,
why we are force to pay more?

I just hope Samsung will take time to investigate issues with note 7 in detail.
It's not about Samsung cancelling a product or bashing this company but they need to investigate this on their own

This is the perfect time for all the competitors to launch an attack by releasing their best phablets. Such a shame for samsung. They better learn their lesson from this or else they will lose even more reputation.
