I would definitely buy a Samsung again. Honestly, if Samsung had put up an offer of providing a voucher for replacement of the Note 7 to a S8 whenever it released, I am sure that a number of people would have snapped this. Samsung has proved in this entire episode that it is a committed and above-board organisation. Never before in the smartphone business have I ever seen that an issue like this was handled in such a professional manner even if it meant wiping off billions of dollars off the company's balance sheet.

I am still using 2 sets of Note 4, presently no other mobile interested. If Samsung produce flagship new model with flat screen and removable battery, I will replace the note 4!

US customers are biased towards US companies. Why not ask people from other countries and see what they think?

I don't understand how people think. Samsung has been the best in mobile market. They always innovate and bring those features in their phones. So we have a fair view towards samsung approach. Its irony that world best smart phone had to be called off because of the battery issue. However samsung I'll come back with a bang next year with the best smart phone one again.

Only Samsung lovers will still brag about the note 7. No phones came close to it because it's the only that will explode by doing nothing.

Name on... moreEnjoy your exploding phone then... and be sure to keep it turned off during any flight, while we are playing with our poor iPhone or Pixel (or whatever else). Lol.
It should be difficult to be a Samsung supporter nowadays...

Their batteries also swell quite often. I really can't imagine how could anyone consider buying a Samsung with a non-removable battery, especially at that price.

The only people who will be affected is Samsung's first time buyers. Otherwise, no manufacturer comes close to the features and performance offered by the Note out there. I was not going to buy a Note 7 but one thing is for sure, as a Samsung user, I have had a chance to test other Android phones such as Sony, LG, Huawei, and Motorola and nothing feels so cool as having your Samsung phone. My Upgrade will be the Note 5 this holiday season.
This issue is when your mom cooks a burnt meal once or twice in her lifetime. You don't runaway to your friend's mom to eat her meals. You have this trust that your mother will get it fixed and give you a better meal next time. But if it is the case of your friend coming to test your mom's meal the day she mistakenly burnt the turkey, your friend will always sing about it like "meen your mom cooks burnt meals..." Samsung I'm sure are working day and night not to mess up the situation next time and be careful with their quality department.
