Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016Hey dude, 40% of current Samsung owners won't buy a Samsung... moreYeah, but keep in mind this is a survey, and surveys only take into account a small fraction of the total population, so that 40% could be misleading. Remember: this is just a tendency measurement, not an universal truth.

AnonD-454879, 14 Oct 2016Why not? Samsung have the TouchWiz!!!! LOL
The poor custom... moreTouchwiz, from S6 and up, has become more fluid and streamlined. I mean, it changed so much and they removed lots of clutter in the UI. But i think most people associate touchwiz with lag because they have used mid and low end samsung devices or flagships before the S6, and these were the days where touchwiz was horribly laggy.
Remember, every smartphone is not perfect . I think people should search for the device that satisfies their need the most, instead of jumping on the first smartphone the vendor suggests when entering the shop (wich is usually a samsung or an iphone).
And people should also take some time and do a research about the phone on this site, as smartphones have become peraonal objects. They contain your life, and your gonna spend the next months, years with it... So be wise.
Finally, i think its also the people's fault if their phones lag, as a phone needs care.
By that, i mean removing apps you don't use anymore,
And the stupid useless ram-consuming phone-breaking Facebook app

My mother worried that one day her S6 Edge can explode. Samsung sucks with all aspects.
I recommend never buy any Samsung phone. Unless you want to get laggy crap.

Yeah, yeah. People always say that..till the next model rolls out. The Galaxy S7 is the device which keeps Samsung among the mobile phone elite. As long as the it remains the best on the market people will always buy Samsung. The Note is more or less a niche device. Its next version may get a lukewarm interest from users..in the beginning. Quite sure people will warm up to the device after a few months.

So basically the people that were angry were the only ones that surveyed the rest of the people that were Happy Joe's not to participate in the survey which would make a false statement. Something tells me the numbers of people that work upset with Samsung was between 15 and 20%. I believe those that are leaving Samsung to go to Apple is probably less than 8%. You cannot take a survey off of only the angry customers that want to participate you need to try and do a better job of asking or if not paying people for surveys because people are getting tired of doing free surveys while Dr actors or spokespersons get paid big bucks to take silly surveys. Trust me I know I see a lot of doctors that get paid for their service

that's interesting, it was 90% in Taiwan keeping Samsung and 60% in USA, that can mean world wide might somewhere in between so i think it's kinda good news for Samsung, now it's their job to capture the leaving users again or lure more people from other brands, they mustn't fail next year ^_^

PIXEL! LOL!
Wouldn't go NEAR it. At that price range I'd choose between an LG G5, SGS7 or Apple iPhone 7.

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016Uh, are you aware that a replacement launcher doesn't reall... moreHahaha that's one of the dumbest things to say. Replacing the home app with a differeny launcher won't make any big difference except for the visual mabye.
Touchwiz or Lagwiz is basically embedded in the system, therefore getting rid of it requires flashing a non-lagwiz rom. This requires root, unlocking the bootloader, installing a recovery and then flashing the vanilla rom.
Its not very easy for the usual user who doesn't even have a clue what apk means. And most of them won't do it also cos they are afraid of losing the warranty and the Knox security.
All i can say is that once you use a rooted Android phone no matter what brand, when you use a normal one it feels like using an iPhone or a kids phone :))
Personally I've opted to root my Sony without unlocking the bootloader, which means no recovery therefore I'm using stock Sony rom buy debloated to the max by myself.
From 370 something apks that come standard I now have about 100 left. My Sony is blazing fast!
Lagwiz on the other hand is PACKED with bloatware..

- Laggy software
- Sealed batteries
- OLED's shorter life expectancy
- Overheating from fast charging
- Bloated hardware features
- Cosmetic gimmick like dual edged displays
- Glass backs that scratches or cracks easily
Yeah, I can see why nobody wants another Samsung again. That's 40% of people who wised up.
Samsung is one of the most innovative companies out right now. But for every greatness they can show, they ruin it as well by trying to emulate the flash over function that Apple perfected so well with their sucker fanatics. There is a critical flaw ergonomically with these slippery, accidentally pressed, dual edged displays. OLED and their cartoony colors also has an inherent flaw with fading color led and PenTile. And Samsung is absolutely one of the worst with software optimization. In a few months, watch the lag.
Samsung has shown weaknesses long before the Note7 went up in flames. I can't wait when people will look back at the dual edged displays of the S6e/S7e/Note7 and laugh at what a useless fad it was... Let's all go back to the flat displays.
