        Apples design flaw...screen losing touch after a period of time...Apple make "claims" as to why this is & offer 50% off the repair (reckon if you kicked off about it enough then it would be free) if out of warranty.

        There is a big difference in the issues here.

If I remember right the cases were varied in price with the most expensive being around £30?

            Samsung has a design flaw, they recall and pay all the expenses and offers free stuff for the inconvenience.

            Apple has a design flaw, they offer to repair their own mistake for "only" 150.

The phones are flawed and t... moreits the same for most companies...for example the xperia z1 has a shatterproof screen..for the regular user it means a good gorillaglass level protection..however when my screen broke and i went for a replacement..they wouldnt repair it, also they said that the shatterproof means that incase of cracking the glass wont shtter and injure you..thats attained by a thin film of plastic, that you could have probably bought from amazon..they decided to give me a replacement with a z3 but in the end wanted to pay me about the same cost as a brand new z3 if i bought one online...long story short 1000bucks down the drain...
              naturally with an empty wallet i went for zenfone 2..it also has a lot of complaints online about ghost touches, which is caused by a thankfully flexible screen which unfortunately bends internal components...so..second phone sitting idly at home...
              now i got the s7 edge..got a scare with the note blowing fiasco..now bit relieved..might go for the note 8..if it comes out..

                      Apple is such a unfair company! The phones are flawed and they refused to accept that they are at fault and repair or replace it in full. Now contract owner of to pay because they tied to a contract. Apple is a thief and a fraud! Samsung had issues with their Note7 phone(which I think "A" boy here have something to do with it) and do the right thing by doing a recall. You can get a refund or replace with a different phone from Samsung but no from Apple. You of to pay this money hog for their fault. I will never buy another Apple product ever again

                            Another Apple ridiculous attitude. First they denied the problem to the heavens over and over again. Finally they have the decency of recognizing the problem but ask $150 to repair it hahahaha

                            Reminds me when Steve denied the iphone4 had a problems with 3G reception and we were holding it wrong. Months after, he finally recognized the problem and offered buyers a cheap plastic case LOL

                            PS: i still have my iphone4 here, still works and still has the same problem of reception, losing connection totally if i hold it the "wrong way".
