DOS - full of "commands", c: copy d: *(Q&%)()
Mac - GUI, drag the icon and it copies, no manual needed.
Again, I DO NOT use iphone, but I find Android being way much easier than Windows Mobile, if not Symbian.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2010Likely I have been using phones longer than you...but I adm... moreDidn't you go thru a lesson or course or self taught yourself to learn how to use the smartest device which is a computer be it Mac or PC. Its the same with a smart phone you will have to learn to use it as well. So pls don't say that people should not learn to use a smart phone. People are adaptable they can learn everything. Its whether you want to use your brains.

3araby, 31 Dec 2010do you honestly think that these magazines are reviewing th... moreSo only the anti-almighty brand articles are bias, all pro-almighty brand articles aren't paid by the almighty brand?
Why need to give time to the almighty brand? Isn't it supposed to be THE BEST who knows how to make everything? It knew how to make touchscreen 2G phones...but out of hundreds of models, it only released 2 before 5800. (not even sure if the other one really hitted the market as I never saw any real one)
I thought not too long ago somebody mentioned apps aren't necessary for N8, so why not simply close down OVI store and promotes all almighty brands phones being almighty out of the box that nothing else is needed?
Oh, developers....didn't the almighty brand just fired 1800 people, most of them being developers?

All these back and forth bantering between nokia and iphone fans. Just look at the sales figures. The iphone is the clear winner. Cause the bottom line is, it's what sells the most that matters, not the specsheet.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2010so the almighty brand didn't try to monopolize the market b... morenot the way apple is doing it, Nokia has been in the phone business a lot longer than apple and like I said at least Nokia makes phone for everyone.
And if you didn´t know Meego can easily beat ios so Nokia decided to adapt Meego which is also supported by Intel so we will be seeing the best Dual-core processors in the next Nokia phones, so be prepared. Even Android is gonna leave ios behind thats for sure just let all this iphone trend go by

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2010So you never suggested people to "upgrade" within... moreare you being serious? Nokia made the N97 mini to target females and to fix what they stuffed up in the original N97, no sane person would upgrade from N97 to mini cause they are the same just different sizes, I would upgrade form E71 to N97 mini yes, but i haven't cause it didn't do for me, but it did for some. I would upgrade to the E7 or N900 something that is actually better then what I have, but I wouldn't upgrade to the E72 cause it's only the 5 mpx and 3.5 music jack which I hardly use.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2010Isn't the world moving towards the "apps"? As me... morewhat country is that because everytime I look at the cellphone market share nokia always rules, that must be in the united states, I dont have anything against US people but i know a lot of people just buy eye candy stuff. And remember apple only makes one phone your beloved *iphone* and Nokia makes a variety of phone with a good quality thats why they are #1.
Anybody that tries to monopolize will always fall down, just look at Microsoft, what we want is freedom!!!!!!!!

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2010Isn't the world moving towards the "apps"? As me... moredo you honestly think that these magazines are reviewing these apps cause they think they should? Everyone gets paid for everything they do, didn't you see how gizmado or whatever the hell they are called did for the N8? They did a biased review saying it's slow and non responsive just cause Apple paid them, it's all about money my friend, these developers make apps cause they like app or just to sell?
The Nokia has apps and getting more apps as we speak, they just started the touch screen phones just last year, give them sometime and watch how they are going to come back. They are watching everyone try and they will show everyone how it's done properly, they have invested billions in meego and they won't disappoint, they have real phone testers and developers to test their phones.

scott, 31 Dec 2010You dont need to be a genious to use a nokia phone. Like i ... moreIsn't the world moving towards the "apps"? As mentioned, many businesses are offering apps, mostly for iphone, nowadays, to offer "more" to the consumers.
Where I live I've shopping malls giving out coupons, guides, etc...Airlines are allowing iphone users to use the phone as remote control, and I heard soon iphone may even be used as hotel keys, check-in at the airlines, etc...
If what you said is true regarding N8 beats iphone out of the box, does that imply iphone (and Android if I may) has more opportunities for expasnsion without much limits?
Yes, Steve Jobs may soon dictate our world, though didn't Bill Gates do that with Windows?
Out of the 2 weekly high tech magazines I read every week, they feature at least 3~4 iphone apps, 2~3 for Android, and 1 to none for Symbian. That really tells the story what happens to Symbian phones "after" out of the box!
I hate the almighty brand because it "tries" to dominate the market thru heavy subsidies to operatores, mass marketing, etc...
One of my local electronic chain stores, which used to be quite objective and offered all brands fair chance to sell their phones. About a year ago the almighty brand nominated the chain to be the "direct distributor". Since then about 80-90% of the products in the stores were from the almighty brand, and all sales staff promoted nothing but the almighty brand's products.
Ever since the rise of Android, the chain saw its sales dropped rapidly, especially with the N900 (which tried to compete with Motorola Milestone, but the latter outsold at least 20 to 1), and now it no longer emphasized so much on the almighty brand's products, and more customers have returned.
I have 5 network service providers and 3 of them carry iphones, and everyday there are lines of people signing up new contracts for iphones. The other 2 struggle by offering "iphone plans" and other incentives to lure iphone users. I simply haven't seen the same situation for N8 at all...or even close.
