The screen resolution will be the same - 1440p - but there will be a lot more subpixels on the matrix.

please 3.5mm jack and physical home key.
more battery life instead of much thinner (the reason for removing the 3.5mm jack is to be able to make the phone thinner)

I just hope there is a flat screen option. The edges on the GN7 looked nice but it wasn't comfortable to hold and accidental touches did happen.

meanwhile the next future iphone 8 will use old technology pentile OLED screen from yesteryear. Apple always playing catch up game.

So they are bringing a Super AMOLED PLUS Display again like the one they had on the Galaxy s2. They have more sub pixels compered to the current generation at that time. But then again at that time the galaxy S2's display was insanely good. It was so good it was the best display on a smartphone back when apple introduced the retina display which had a higher pixel density but the Super AMOLED PLUS still looked better. well can't wait to see it on a higher resolution display.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2016Please explain why front facing speakers are bad...and bad ... moreBecause the puny speakers work like tweeters only. No bass and even middle.
To have some bass or middle from them you must put them on box pointing back to reflect the sound.
You can try it yourself. Put some music on your phone and point the speakers toward your face.
Then turn the phone with the speakers pointing back and put your hand palms behind to reflect the sound. There you have the much better sound quality with bass and middle.
That's why the super thin TVs have no front speakers , but speakers point down to make the trick with the desk they are put on, and pointing back to reflect sound with the wall behind.
Of course this way you trade some loudness for the quality, but louder speakers compensate.
