There should be an AMOLED display that has RGB colors on each individual pixels so the color accuracy won't be an issue, plus also has RGB pattern of pixels for very sharp high quality display

The one guaranteed thing from Samsung is always the best display. S8 will be the best ever. And the jack will most definitely stay.

The second name of AMOLED is "burn-in".
The reason why Samsung use PenTile subpixels is the burn in. PenTile is intended to extend the lifespan of AMOLED screen and delay the appearance of burn in, but it still has much shorter lifespan than LCD. With the RGB subpixel arrangement, the burn in will happen a lot faster.

Anonymous, 07 Dec 2016Yeah, it sucks to have more screen estate where but now now... moreWell Samsung kept the home button and the capacitive, so far and still had one of the best screen to body ratio, perfectly practical.
I asked many here to tell us, why is this hate on it. Please tell us!
If Samsung omit home button, by offering better solution - that's OK.
But just to put onscreen buttons will be terrible....until you make good point, and prove me wrong.
Please read my last comments with my point, before the (if)answer.

Genius.
I never understood the fans of physical buttons. There is literally zero reason for them, you just make the screen a tiny beat higher and you don't lose *any* screen estate by the soft buttons. It's probably the same crowD that wanted physical keyboards on phones and making fun of iphones. Now see where blackberry is, nothing less efficient than typing on tiny buttons...

Do you know how many PR-Apple rumors were that Samsung will copy the Force Touch BS? Well GS7/Edge , even Note7 ....didn't. So?
Even if Samsung omit the home button in March next year, what iPhone model will ''copy''???
So, calm down ignorant.

Stop copying the undesirable design traits of the iPhone! Like removing the 35mm headphone jack and physical home button! The more convergent the designs, the less reason we have to choose Samsung over Apple.

What is your problem with the physical home button? Please explain!
The physical button saved me million times in darkness. And in the bed using the phone. And pulling it from the pocket in right direction and taking call at night.
BTW you can't compare the vulnerable software buttons with home buttons. And yes, they disappear on some tasks, but they are boring and obstructing most of the times. On tablets not so much because of the bigger screen.
I still can not see valid reason for the hate of using OFF screen buttons . If they are not huge like Apple's

One handed use maaay return in the bezeless era if they decide to make a 5incher (it would be as small as age old 4-4.3 inchers) but I kinda doubt it. People prefer more content on screen over better ergonomy.
I would love a bezeless 5 inchers though (120x63mm phone)
