And no 3.5mm headphone jack!
Brands never to buy from again for a smartphone -
Apple
Samsung
I will buy another Mac from Apple or at least a model before 2016. I will buy a Smart TV from Samsung since I like the one I have now. But smartphones? Never again from both.
LG, baby. Or maybe Nokia with Android if they still offer removable battery like LG does. The Chinese like Meizu and Xiaomi copy them since they never had an R&D budget and sell it for a cheaper price. The mobile industry has become a joke thanks to Apple's so-called "courage" and Samsung copying their every move. Stick to laptops. They last much longer. Never again with an Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S/Note.

I loved the physical button rather than that piece of dumb virtual button on screen. Its like u r missing ur power button.. while having physical button it feels like u have whole contol.. but if they remove it . It would b crap idea

Its about time they used the full RGB panel. The last flagship that had one was the Galaxy S2. The reason was that the blue pixels had a shorter lifespan and would degrade the image quality. But I've once bought a now 4 year old used S2 and didn't really notice any image quality issues. And this is a better move than going to a 4K screen. With the mediocre battery life that most flagships have right now? A 4K screen should be the last thing they slap on the phone.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2016Why ugly? It is nice to have physical button rather than... moreTrue. Virtual buttons freeze up along with the UI at times. Physical buttons also freeze up but not as much. More reliable in getting you out of a stuck app.

RejZoR, 06 Dec 2016FINALLY! I absolutely hated the dreaded stupid physical but... moreI don't think so as many manufacturers have phomes with on-screen buttons and amoled desplays (bb priv, some chinese manufacturers and especially oneplus 3 wich uses a rebranded samsung amoled display and has the option to use on-screen buttons)

It will definitely be the most important launch in all Samsung history. 1, after the international fiasco of the Note 7. & 2, because the extreme competition, from the usual HTC (11), LG (G6) iPhone, etc. & from almost all the Chinese more than ever before, with phones such as the Xiaomi Mi Mix, & next gen bargain phones such as the OnePlus (4) & ZTE Axon (8). It's an absolute must for Samsung to introduce the S8 as a complete safe flagship and a true powerhouse

Ironically, with all the new goodies coming in the S8 then the Note7 fiasco was not total waste after all.

Anonymous, 06 Dec 2016Finally getting rid of the ugly physical home button! Why ugly?
It is nice to have physical button rather than "virtual" - which may or may not work, and you cannot feel it.

aeae, 06 Dec 2016I think it will have. CharIf Samsung wants to keep water & shockproof resistance than It`s hardly that s8 will have removable battery

FINALLY! I absolutely hated the dreaded stupid physical button. After being on Huawei Ascend P7 which has none, I'd never look back. But I know why Samsung didn't use it till now. SuperAMOLED. Ascend P7 can use on-screen keys because it's using IPS screen. SuperAMOLED would lead into screen burn in. Which happens with organic screens. So, there's that.
