My LG G4 bootlooped.. LG UK support offered no help. Told me as I had bought it from a hong kong import site the warranty wasnt with them.. didnt respond to messages after that as to how to access that warranty. HK site doesnt exist anymore. LG G6 looks interesting but dont want another boot-looping phone..

LG's customer service is pretty trash as well. I had a lengthy inspection last year. My G3's screen had cracked horizontally from one end to the other while sitting under my purse to keep it out direct sunlight. The crack rendered it unusable and after almost a month they determined that the damage was my fault and that the device had been "chewed or smashed". I also got a replacement G5 (that I absolutely didn't want) for my V10 that had gone into a boot loop.

My V10 entered a boot loop earlier this year

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2016Have fun then...many products (Samsung possibly upcoming) u... moreWell, no other Samsung phone model had this problem before. And they took measure for it, promptly. Recalled 100% phones, gave customer gift cards, good deal on replacement phones. BUT, what is LG doing? LG devices having SAME problem over & over again, from G3 to V20!!! Even some customers complained about Nexus 5X bootloop issue too! ON TOP OF THESE PROBLEMS, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS.... INDESCRIBABLY FRUSTRATING! So... are we still talking about BIAS?!

Your comments concerning the camera are misplaced and incorrect. I own a V20 and can confirm SteadyShot 2.0 is steller in operation, keeping the picture very steady when used. Low light pictures are some of the best on a smartphone. Maybe you need to Google the basics of how to operate a camera.

Are your f***ing serious!!!! WTF LG! You can't even fix your only problem?!! I bought 3 LG G4 phones for my family members. And bootloop happened to 1 device. I contacted LG directly (I bought the phone from amazon) as it was under 1 year manufacturer warranty, their reply was, 'send the phone to us in South Korea with your own shipping cost, we will look in to the problem and it may take few months to get the phone back repaired'. Seriously! I contacted promptly to amazon and they asked me to return the phone and they gave me a refurbished unit, which looked new to me. And the whole process took only 10 days! After G4 they released V10, G5 and lastly V20 and the problem still persists!!!! AND they are blaming on USB port! How stupid you can be LG! This problem was not new in G4, it happened to previous LG devices too. Now I'm scared to buy another LG phone!

G4 great on paper. But cheap electronics, full of problems, buggy software, camera keeps crashing here and there... Assistance very unprofessional, they just make a hard reset and send back this problematic phone. Never, never again LG, not even for free

One G3 and a G4 both stuck in bootloop. Customer service was shocking. Due for upgrade in may and sad to say LG wont be getting my business.

Never had this issue with my old G3, but my V10 recently did. Had a bootloop issue occur last month during Thanksgiving week. Was browsing Facebook when it shut off unexpectedly, and it got stuck on a bootloop when I tried to power it back on. I can verify that it isn't a "USB" cable issue, as I never charge my phone directly. I swap between 2 different batteries and charge the spare with a charging cradle.

LG V20 design flaws so far:

                            - fragile camera glass
The reason is that they used a big, one piece of glass instead of individual, small glasses for each chamera.
                            - bootloop
                            - bad low-light camera performance
                            - bad auto mode for camera, incorrect color reproduction
                            - horrible EIS (SteadyShot) stabilization distorts the video and significantly increases vibration
                            - bad OIS stabilization causes wobble / jello effect

Two G3s and One G4 bootlooped. No type-C cable whatso ever. Love LG devices, it's so sad they're so careless with the quality of their products.

I had an LG V10 that bootlooped in august. I pre ordered it from t-mobile when it was coming out, and it worked great, and then suddenly almost a year later it just got stuck in the boot loop. One of my friends had a G4 that boot looped 2 months ago. She had some important pictures that could not be retrieved and were lost. Its sad to see that LG still has this issue, its what made me switch. Its turning into a fool me one situation

AnonD-622914, 20 Dec 2016What a load of shyte LG are cheap and shoody my LG g4 which... moreHave fun then...many products (Samsung possibly upcoming) utilize LG's batteries. Good luck finding out which ones.

I do find it interesting that LG has a problem that bricks a small percentage of their devices: outrage! LG is the worst! argh! Don't buy them ever!

Samsung has an issue that can literally burn your house down and cause severe bodily harm, that is a flaw in 90-100% of the devices sold: well, that is okay, Samsung will make it up don't worry, move along.

If that isn't some insane amounts of bias, I don't know what is.
