regs, 22 Jan 2017Xperia Compact series, iPhone. They are being sold 3-4 time... moreI clearly stated "Android" so no need to mention iPhone otherwise go and buy iPhone why u are wasting your time in Sammy thread. And about xperia compacts, yes, maybe compact version sell better than bigger, because they are better options in Android world than normal size xperia but almost no option at 4.6. And that was the case more than a year ago. You must know what Sony did to compact line last year. By having a look at x compact, u will know why I said "days of high end Androids are gone". xperia z3c was my favorite BTW.

€850 for the standard S8 then I believe the Plus version will go to €1000 as I imagined but it would be nice if the price would come down a little bit to make up for the lost and the disappointment of the note 7. Of all course you have to gain the trust fully back and catch some new customers as well. Good luck king of phones Samsung.. but be alert Nokia is coming like a wild beast into the android world.

Indeed I have seen 3 different design concepts of this great phone and all the 3 look great. This one too is great and I hope they don't change it. The screen to body ratio is very high which I like so Much. I hope it can be 90 or more.

Unless I'm using the phone as a tablet, below 5" is enough for me.

S7 has a good battery life that is better than many android phones. So I hope this powerful phone will top it up. The S8 plus battery should go beyond 5000 mAh and with super charge to make the use of the phone very interesting. The standard S8 battery should also go to 4000 mAh or more than that also with super charge. There are many android phones which are very good on the market but this one should be the best.

As much I as like bigger screen to body ratio (all screen body) what worries me is the battery size and battery life. I hope they won't compromise it. At least it should be slightly better than the S7/Edge

Note 8 was already launched years ago - in the form of the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet (8 inch screen, hence the name). They might use a slightly different name - say Note 8 (2017) or something.

For me, screen size doesnt matter. Just dont be "fire in the hole" device anymore.

Screen size really doesn't matter, what matters is the total phone size. If Samsung manages to keep the S7 size with a 5.7" screen with curved edges, then I have no reason to dislike this screen size.

Once the screen size exceed 4 / 4.2 inches, it can no longer be able to use in one hand by most people, Regardless of bezel.

They should make it smaller and smaller, but it will fail as android lacks optimization. Good thing samsung got one hand mode.

Zenodroid, 22 Jan 2017You just need glasses, not higher resolution. I'm talking about screen size, not resolution. I can read the text on 4" phone (iPhone SE) without glasses, but it's too small whether it's 4"/4.6"/4.7".
