You guys coming up here with your comments are not even 0.1% of the total consumers that will be getting the S8 at last. Stupid people will buy even if it is $100.00 higher at price and does not represent an S7 improvement overall.

same as any forum, always have to pick the good posts and discard the bad ones

        have a nice day

1 day passed, Samsung still hasn't denied the leak. Prepare for the worst.

Anonymous, 27 Jan 2017it doesn't say SAMSUNS it says SAMSUNG on the back. o... moreI, as well as many others, have viewed the image zoomed in on very high resolution displays. Without a shadow of a doubt, the logo clearly reads SAMSUNS. The "S" on the end is so clearly visible up close that it is not even a question.

            1. The logo reads SAMSUNS
            2. That is clearly a Micro-USB port (photoshopped upside down)
            3. No Galaxy S8 naming on the back
            4. The back curve is not aligned with the front curve
            5. The fingerprint scanner is sloppy, and is not aligned with the camera
            6. The power button vanished in the second phone on the right

When the actual device is finally revealed, and it is not the at all like the one pictured in this article, I will definitely return here to have a good laugh.

Ok, expected the S8 to be my next phone, but it's a frustrating joke!

-Tha battery should have been 4000Mah!!!!!! For Christ's sake!!!!
-That screen aspect ratio is a NIGHTMARE!!! They are out of their mind!
-The camera needed to be upped, becasue everybody takes 16:9 ratio shots and this way the 12MP is in reality 9MP. That was about enough until now, but S8 badly needed a 16MP camera with 16:9 ratio! So it could have been used on the full resolution, and it would have been an 80% upgrade in quality.
                -S8 needed the 6GB RAM!
-The fingerprint scanner is UNUSABLE there!!!
That's five TERRIBLE MISTAKES!!!! These are dealbreakers by themselves, but on the whole it's a NIGHTMARE!!!

I honestly believe the S7 edge will still remain the best phone on the market at least till the S9 comes out, so at least for 1,5 years. The next Iphone will aslo be a midranger (as always), and the competition in the Android scene never gives you EVERYTHING in one phone!
S7 edge gives you the best package, and it's a design MIRACLE! Absolutely gorgeous, amazing screen, amazing battery, amazing design, AMAZING WIRELESS CHARGING, sd card, very nice user experience and cam, ip68. Reasonable 16:9 aspect ratio, and fp. scanner.
It will remain the best until S9.
I hope they don't ruin that one also! If these specs for S8 are real, then it's a HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!
                UNBELIEVABLE!

Very bad decision about fingerprint scanner and Ram . Have sold s7 edge to buy s8 but will buy s7 edge again if this leak is confirmed,,,, :-(

AnonD-638657, 27 Jan 2017I'm not a Samsung engineer so I can't rebuttal with how muc... moreI'm no Samsung engineer either, but I can tell you that you can almost always design a phone more space-efficiently, and use that extra space to add more battery. Or make a phone thicker, that works too

Don't see C-Type in the picture(looks like Micro USB Port), Fingerprint scanner adjacent to the camera, not a great one IMO. More software features but less frequent updates is still a BIG hesitation for purists! 3D touch only in the lower part of the display really sucks, though not a killer feature by any means! Hopefully, their display, camera, performance can make up the lost grounds. Samsung is still experimenting SideSync like Continuum features going nowhere. There is no compelling eco-system lock-up due to heavy dependency on Andriod is not really bothering many consumers to freely experiment on-and-off with Samsung! They badly need their own OS!

The photo seems fake. The figerprint sensor doesn't align the camera perspective.

This is the 3rd time I'm posting this:
                                      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otwED6s3rCQ

Are you people really not aware how much an insane difference extra ram does to every day experience? You don't need a single app make use of it, merely the fact that android retains in ram even background apps is enough. Eliminate a ting load times on mobiles is huge, now you won't need to wait if you want an instant update on whether, or navigation or what have you, or even opening the camera.

That's huge, that's why you see OnePlus being 2016's performance champ (more Ram than the rest). More RAM always equals more performance on android, always. Always.
