AnonD-632062, 28 Jan 2017I think the SD 835 will have a higher multi-core CPU perfor... moreFrom what I know, 835 is an octa-core only on paper (the clusters do not work in parallel - only one is active at a time) so it is either 4 small cores running or 4 big-cores running.

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2017So lower PPI, lower battery (due to the bigger screen), low... moreThe PPI will be around 568, which is roughly the same as S7 and higher than that of S7 edge, which is in fact higher than last year's model. I personally think it's way too much and would prefer a 1080p display.

The battery should be longer lasting too, due to 10nm process as well as bigger body leading to bigger battery. Phablets last longer than compact phones.

About the RAM, S8 is supposed to have 8 GB RAM. And even a 4k frame only takes only about 24 MB of RAM. So no, the available RAM won't be much lesser due to the resolution.

On one side, you are complaining about the lack of PPI and on other you are saying that high resolution is bad. Make up your mind.

Use some brain and give some hard facts before complaining. Also I don't think Samsung will be stupid enough to price the phones $100 higher than last year when they are going through a tough time after the note 7 mishap. They will be taking the market back from iPhones and if they want to do that, they can't price it higher than iPhone 7 and 7 plus, which cost $650 and $750 respectively.

FaceGle, 28 Jan 20175.8 and 6.2? that's ridiculous, I cant even put the inside ... moreAgain with this, S8 phones will be 95% similar to S7 and S7e due to bigger screen but better screen ratio, rumored dimension confirm it

So lower PPI, lower battery (due to the bigger screen), lower ram (same in fact but more things to render), for $100 more than last year? ...oh and the fingertip sensor is now on the back?

Go home Samsung, you're drunk. BTW perfect chance to buy S7 ... better in several key aspects.

Not the overall size that wilk be increased on the 5.8 inch.. As much as i love the curved display and its looks in my s6 edge.. it sometimes get annoying with the display for registering touches that i dont intend to.. and the s7's palm rejection was only half good.. so they need to fix it

Qualcomm says 10% boost on raw power which means 160-180 points more than Sn820. Since scores are around 1600-1850.
Well nougat made my Xperia Xz muxh better in numbers.

FaceGle, 28 Jan 20175.8 and 6.2? that's ridiculous, I cant even put the inside ... moreDo the math, they have 18.5 : 9 aspect ratio , so their width should be almost the same as S7/*S7 edge.

Just enlarge the screen height by dropping the bezels

5.1 to 5.5 (5.7 either) is good enough.

Look at the USB port on the right picture. It's backwards. The pictures are fakes.

AnonD-390711, 27 Jan 2017100% sure they will not do a 5,8 and a 6.2up plus model. Th... moreI did the math and found out that their sizes will be pretty much same as current models even on the 6.2" model.

If 18.5 : 9 aspect ratio turns true, 6.2" model's screen width shall be 69mm, almost same as current 5.5" phone.

They just stretch the height by 20mm.
                                      Not a big deal.
