'Real-Life' performance is always better... I always prefer battery life over performance cause that's a VERY obvious way to notice a 'Real-Life' performance.

Wow what a surprise, I would've never expected such a move from them, especially Meizu... lol just kidding

Just to let you know. Using the full potential of the speeds the CPU and GPU delivers out of the box on a smartphone is in no way cheating. The whole point of doing benchmarks is to push the hardware to it's limits. Which in this case is to utilize the speeds the CPU and GPU can run at out of the box.
How is it cheating to utilize the speeds the CPU and GPU comes with out of the box?
Do you see a drag race car gets benchmarked at a drag strip at only 60% of the engines full potential?
No you don't.

AnonD-566030, 01 Feb 2017Man you are taking about "Apple" it's benchmark checkers fa... morebut i am surprised why Antutu put the ijunkies on the score table on Android app...for what?! to make people who have Android to buy crapple to show off "hey i have way more score on antutu than you". thats for what??
i dont know why Antutu do that...and yesterday i see this when testing my phone...i dont do it for so long and i give a try and then in the end see ijunkies on the score i cant belive...but...money talks and Antutu team is no better than others, everyone like money.

More or less every brand does it, so who cares? To do a real benchmark, set up the phone with only the WiFi connection and the access to market/Store. Install nothing but the benchmark app and run the test. Everything else gives false results.

XoX, 01 Feb 2017so...this mean apiple is in the game too...i am sure of tha... moreYou realise difference between resolution? Antutu takes gfx in high consideration. There is a difference between games being rendered at 640 p vs ones at 1440p also different OS different framework. Can't compare these 2

J o m s, 01 Feb 2017Nonsense, it is not cheating at all. You need the processor... moreDo you even know what do those tech from Intel and AMD do? Scaling CPU speed according to usage to make CPU more energy-efficient is something else than letting CPU cores slightly active while the phone is idle to react on benchmark tests faster, finishing it earlier. This may seems ok, but then recorded stats are better and can be used for marketting even when benefits for users are just marginal. Remember the main reason behind 1Plus good performance is it FHD display requiring less energy and processing power.

If VW and all the other big car manufacturers are cheating, what makes you think mobile phone manufacturers don't do it too?
It seems today everyone is an effing cheater..
Also Chinese brands are very well known for spying on you..

Antutu is worst parameters to describe a device performance. They should banned it and look for other parameters to check real life performance. Which is good for us. People buys device on trust and believe that it will do same as it promises. Shame one u

And somewhere in the darkness of forgotten phones, Nokia X2 Dual Sim from 2014 with Snapdragon 200 and 1GB RAM is laughing histerically. A cheap phone with inferior specs but gaming performance on almost the same level as flagships of it's time. If X2 won't be enough then look at iPhones. With unimpressive specs on paper they easily surprass any Android phones not only at benchmark but also in real-life usage. Stop this big screen and RAM madness!

Nonsense, it is not cheating at all. You need the processor running at full speed to gauge its performance, otherwise you are an idi*t boasting your Ferrari is the fastest if you are driving it at 30mph on highway.
AMD and Intel have PowerNow and SpeedStep, if you disable them and run a worthless benchmark like GB then you are considered a cheater? LoL

so...this mean apiple is in the game too...i am sure of that, like 5SE doing more than SD810 its impossible, Nexus 6P is way faster and hardware capable than 5SE and in Antutu seing 134000+ for 5SE is ridiculous...and even 6S doing 183000+ is way way cheating for my opinion.

Of course, this has to be Chinese brands. iPhones are the only smartphones whose benchmarks actually reflect real-world performance.

Benchmark numbers are still one of the easiest ways to market the performance of your phones to the masses. Even though most of us here who regularly visit tech sites already know that good benchmarks don't necessarily mean good performance. And in hindsight, Oneplus and Meizu have really good optimization in their UI and it shows in how more fluid their phones operate compared to othe OEMs. No need to cheat, really.
