i guess nokia dug their own grave..i guess Symbian/Meego OS is not the problem i guess it's nokia itself, embracing craps that will make their company lose more profits and customers,i guess nokia should wake up and start picking up itself to be back on track, these past few years android and ios was eating nokia's market share i guess it's time to do something about it.but guess what!? nokia chose the wrong decision,i hope i am wrong, but im still hoping for the best i love symbian but i think it will be on the dump site now or just like what other people says "android will be the new hero"..Elop chose to be burn on his platform and he didn't jump into the cold water and adopt android

There is also the matter of pricing.
Nokia was selling n8 at a really high price if you think of the hardware it offered. Not to mention n97 (no gpu!).
How high do you think the price of a high end wp7 nokia phone will be?
I think we ll be all forced to dump nokia even if we dont want to.
So its probably Android for me, although i dont really like it.

Nokia should have bought Palm and should have installed WebOS into their devices. WebOS wud have been better choice than Win 7 or Android.

Nokia's over, people want Android or Iphone. If Nokia announces partnership with Google, she returned to the top. The best hardware with the best software.

I was a Win mob fanboy but Microsoft is just lame with windows 7, promises a ton delivered crap! Why would Nokia want to join them? Just a joke as windows 7 has lees functionality than before......compared with Android they looked like pre-historic especially in terms of connectivity.

[deleted post]Well, I've got news for you. European telcos pleaded to Nokia to adopt Meego/Windows. EU Telcos dreaded the Ios-android invasion.

No more Nokia for me either. This must the worst tech. chice of our lifetime. I mean, if WP7 was something huge, then fine, adopt it and the general public is happy...but wtf, WP7 sold less than Symbian 3 in the same timeframe. So indeed, makes you wonder if Elop is making a purely economical choice or are there some stings attached to the whole deal. Well, anyway, i'm really disappointed and my next phone will not be Nokia, it will most probably run Android. If only Nokia had made the choice to adopt Android, but we dont live int the world of ifs and buts and the reality hurts. WP7 will never prevail.
