If we use the smaller S8 as an example and if we assume the new display will consume about 14% more power just based on the size increase (which can very well be wrong since the new screen can be more energy efficient as well) and the new chipset is twice as efficient then the battery life of the S8 will actually be better even if we go by the 20%-80% power consumption figures you stated.

Lol. It doesn't. I was replying to you so that you can think logically why the ZUK can fit a bigger battery. You only spoke of the outer dimensions but you have no idea how the inner components being placed and their dimensions.

It is not very reasonable to use a less powerful battery for a large screen phone!
If so, the galaxy S8 sale will not be good as expected

ZUK Z2 'Vs' Galaxy S8 Plus = ZUK Z2s more efficient use of available space.

          I say no more...

Disappointing battery on top of the weird fingerprint sensor placement.
Hmm.. should I better wait for the note 8 or go for the s8 plus anyway?

The new chipsets used in the S8 (both Exynos and Snapdragon) are said to be much more efficient than the ones used in the current generation, so this should more than offset the extra battery drain from the larger screens.

And that the new S8 and S8 Plus will run smoothly and have fully optimized Nougat to run their devices.

I wish Samsung would increase the battery capacity of the S8. True, the SD 835 might be very efficient on it's 10nm platform but still today many manufacturers offer flagships with close to 4000 mAh batteries.
Even Samsung puts large batteries in their premium midrangers (C9 Pro, A9, A9 Pro), so why hesitate on their flagships?

What it does have is stable non-exploding battery, that lasts 3-4 days with light usage and gets 10hrs SoT, while not skimping on performance.
Not to mention that it costs 1/4 of what S8 would cost. Impossible combination to beat for Samsung.
