Watch the Nokia N8 and iPhone 4 get test tortured to death

18 February, 2011
When we buy a new phone we are always concerned if its body is scratch-resistant or will it get dirty quickly. This is essential information because when the time comes to sell it, the better it looks the higher price...

Not only the software, the hardware of the iPhone 4 is much better than Nokia N8.. Well, price won't lie anyway :P Nokia just not as good as they were before, they're sliding down the hill every year!!

iPhone4's glass broke after you drop it. This test is really fake. And, by the way, why should these tests bother us consumers anyway? Except the drop and scratch test, i dont see others being relevant. You watch porn on your phone in the toilet and ended up dropping it into the bowl, the first thing anyone would think, oh shit, i need a new phone after crying over the loss for a day.

this is completely B.S.!!! LMAOO is this what apple has to do to degrade nokia? is that how un-confident they feel about their iPhone? ahh man this made laugh my a** off! :P

they never showed how iPhone looked after the scratch experiment.. and the case was damaged after the drop test and yet they gave it three stars? like what a stupid way of dissing Nokia? Come on guys nokia has been the leader for sooo many years.. and it will always stay like this!

Yet Another Android, 19 Feb 2011And heres the iPhone 4 failing miserably: Antennaegate ... moreLOL... seriously? the 3rd video down had like 5 minutes of the dude talking about his iphone 4 in which he doesn't really give any explanation? The wall mount kit video complains about how a retard doesn't know how to use a corkscrew properly and strips the screw and complains about it? How is that apple's fail? The Last video is a dude dropping them from about 4.5 feet, he drops it once, it doesn't turn off, so he drops it again, it turns off but he doesn't explain if its LCD damage or the phone turning off? Uhh turn the power button on and it'll tell you. How is it not biased? How is the tester in this video biased? Did they drop the iphone 4 at 1 feet from the ground and the N8 at 20 feet from the ground? You're so smart if you didn't get the clue i was being sarcastic here. I'm sure if the people that did this stress test put the N8 up against like say an HTC device and HTC passed where as N8 didn't you'd label them android lovers too? LOL

[deleted post]you don't know a crap about what your saying. n8 sold just 4 million in whole Q4, whereas iphone 4 sold more than 3 million in first month itself.

Someone earlier said it best. The test was biased due to the way they conducted it. I don't care who wins as long as the bias is not there.
If you claim you are testing the phones then every single "test" should be done with a brand new phone. This way there is no bias coming from the previous testing session, and the testing sequence bias gets nullified because you are using a new decide every single time.
I can understand that maybe due to costs they did not want to ruin several phones of each type, but then you cannot claim you tested them properly and without bias. Professionals need to be professionals and cover any possible aspect which might skew the results.

Daaamn, I'm pretty impressed. I really would've thought the N8 would completely dominate, and I always sort of pictured the iPhone 4 as rather fragile. Apparently that really isn't the case and I don't know anything.
