I am neither Apple nor Nokia phone... but definitely I can tell iPhone is very bad at signal strength the sources are many of my iPhone user friends who have been using iP1,2,3 and so I have serious doubt about the stress test given above as they gave 3/3 rating for signal strength

Whatever, nokia is failing and its CEO agreed. Apple is at its peak and its share is all time high. Apple won't consider nokia as rival since nokia is best known for 20$ phone seller now. Apple will compete with htc and samsung. Symbian will kill nokia. Europeans are not very good in programming softwares or os. Americans OSes like ios, android, wp7 and no need to mention windows. So nokia, wake up and produce more wp7 and android phones. learn how moto survived and lg too.

GSMarena should include these kinds of stress tests in their reviews. For the most part, GSMarena is pretty unbiased and so implementing these tests into their reviews would further reveal the quality-build of any phone under review.
Also, if GSMarena applied these tests to their reviews, please make sure that its the exact same tests in the exact same order that they are performed for each phone.
Bring back pagers!!! lol....

[deleted post]That's your source? Sorry but your awareness is lacking in both understanding and credibility. If the N8 really sold that much then it would have been posted all over the web. If it was writen by a credible newspaper it would also been up as well. Your claims are not backed by any credible sources and it's nothing more than just a fanboy propaganda.

Nokia fan boys are like this all the time. They defended the N97 to death until ANSSI VANJOKI came out and admitted they had a problem with the handset. This is why I keep going on about fan boys being the main reason behind Nokia's fall, rather than demanding better from Nokia they just take the shit that they produce. No one is arguing the fact that aluminium body is stronger than glass "not plastic". These are just tests carried out on any phone they can get their hands on. If you go to the website you will find plenty other phones that have put through similar tests. There's no conspiracy just facts. High End Nokia devises have suffered from poor quality over the years and there can only be one reason for that, people are not demanding better all of which comes back to fan boys, they take anything as long as it's labelled NOKIA.

its obvious
that those who tested the
phones are apple fan-boys as
they did not bother to show the
result of the wearout test for
iphone.
Plus, all people know that when
an iPhone comes in a close
contact with water ( or other
liquid ) the built-in 'damp-
sensor' will show that and the
device will ( or at least should )
turn off.
The test is crap, crap crap...
