S7 has the same glass like Pixel or G6, the same "fast, powerful and power-efficient SOC, an ultra fast LPDD4 RAM and NAND flash memory" like any flagship(really, all of them use the same things), Pixel camera kills S7's camera anywhere anytime, the 2K screen of S7 is on par with the rest (Pixel uses Samsung Super AMOLED screen, so it's no edge), the battery again is the same everywhere(ok, some have smaller, some have bigger, but S7 is not special in this department), wireless charge is a gimmick because you can't use the device when charging(and it's a bummer because you can use it when you cable fast charge, and btw other companies have also wireless fast charge) and no Samsung software can even come close to the king of them, Google, "KNOX security, Game Launcher, smart power optimization and performance modes" are more like marketing bloatware, stock is the best in long-term(compare the 2013 phones Samsung Galaxy S4 to Nexus 5 and you'll se the difference between laggy as hell and amazing buttery smooth). Google Pixel may not be perfect, but for its software updates, smoothness and incredible cameras with HDR+ it's overall the best Android smartphone of 2016. (it's not fair to compare phones from other OSs, they are simply too different)

It seems there are so many comments from Pixelians defending their poor-valued purchase. On the even brighter side, they may have the opportunity to overspend on yet another mid-range-valued phone this year.
Maybe Google can "innovate" and increase the top and bottom bezels to two centimeters, each, and raise the price by 10%.

But Pixel has the best software ever seen on a phone, the only truly fluid Android phone with the best camera out there because of the best HDR algorithms, so it has something to justify the price, but it's not enough, maybe 2nd Gen Pixel will be more feature packed.

It wasn't about price, it was about lacking features found in other phone. Btw, I really like the design and the phone feels great in hand.

If the... moreIPhones are are simple to use that's why they are successful, My friend is technology minded and bought an IPhone on this basis.Once you have converted most of your files into IOS it's hard to convert or escape IOS again.
Another fact is that as your spending all your money on ITunes you don't want to port off it and neither does Apple want you to escape it's clutches.
I have had IPhones 4,4s and 6Plus, there nice looking phones but lack the freedom and creativity Android brings, Also I hated ITunes it is the most unfriendly media programme.
