If samsung create a solid line for every needs, instead of creatings phone for everybody like it does now, including ugly ass phones nobody buys. You are not a crack filler, don't do it bro.
Samsung may gain something. Cut down your phones, make a solid phone for every market. Don't produce too much garbage. :)

And, you know, there's always people that want the brand name on the phone to show off. It's why Samsung and iPhones are still very popular in Asia and Africa where those people should usually save some money for food instead of phones.

Huawei is #3 thanks to China having 2B people of the 7B. Apple is #2 thanks to North America and Europe.
Samsung is #1 thanks to having Top 5 shares in several continents and being the de facto choice above LG for South Koreans. Samsung actually helps their government. Samsung is YUUUGE!
Let's see if Nokia can make a dramatic comeback. I say invest in their stock this year. The power of nostalgia can not be underestimated by the once mighty, Nokia. In two years, don't be shocked if Nokia enters in the Top 4 again only behind Samsung, Apple, and Huawei.

Is the iPhone really a better device? No. Is an iPhone needed to access Apple services? No. So why are people picking it over alternatives well knowing it is the most expensive profit laden of them? Knowing that its market is the better-to-do parts of the world which do not have to reach deep in the pockets to buy it I think the answer to the exit poll at the store: "Why did you just select the iPhone over another brand?" is "I don't know - that's what my family, friends and coworkers have". Mixed with an attraction to the bling value that Apple has succeeded in adding.

Also, there's not a single Huawei phone that has the edge Super Amoled display, nor has multi window-multitasking and the exclusive VR that Samsung have. No waterproofing also. Apparently you don't know how to read that well. On top of that, their flagship phones cost over $800 which is actually more expensive than an S7 and on par with the unreleased S8! Do you even know what cheaper means!? What a joke! And Apple is even a BIGGER joke. Lol

Samsung is gonna repeat it again by selling the most smartphones in 2017, let the S8 and s8+, and other high end mid rangers come out come out. I bet s8 is gonna be better than iPhone 8 and the bigger version(s)
