Could Samsung end up all these news? Or Samsung just want to "remind" push the Note 7 user to pre-order S8?

If Note 7 had removable battery:
- people could take out the battery and charge it in an external charger (a physical workaround for Samsung's charging blocker)
- the whole Note 7 fiasco could be solved easily by replacing the battery to a new safe one. There would be no need to recall the entire device.

After many years I've parted ways with samsung. Not because of battery issues on note 7. Because of edge screens and glass back. Can't stand any of these. Happy owner of mate 9 now. I do miss my s pen though.

I forgot to mention that it's even better if people root their Note 7 and uninstall the updater services and install a firewall to block internet connection to everything, except the browser and some apps the user needs. Or use some permission manager or custom ROM. Also, Note 7 users should change their IMEI.
And every smartphone owner who is a passenger on a plane should rename their phone's bluetooth name to Note 7 and turn bluetooth on. Do the same with your WiFi hotspot. :)

All Note 7 users who have brain, they have already disabled the updates long time ago.
Those who have not disabled the updates, they deserve their phones to be bricked by Samsung.
