AnonD-3575, 17 Mar 2011im sorry to disappoint you, samsung sold 5million galaxy s ... more4 million in one month ??? Thats got to be a joke...Maybe you saw that in your dream....Even the much anticipated iphone 4 sold just 3 million in first month...
Show me the link that says so...I'm sure there wont be any...
All i have seen is an article that says nokia "MAY" have sold 4 million in "whole" Q4 2010.
This one: http://www.gizmocrave.com/3627-nokia-n8-sales-rate-revealed-sells-close-to-4-million-units/

And the galaxy S (series) sales comes close to 15 million units!! which is more than n8 + c6 + c7 + n900. (dont forget n900 was available for longer time in the market than galaxy s)

And yes nokia is the only notable dumbphone maker and 80% of nokia's sales are from dumbphones, that part i agree.

n8 sold 4million in 1month, not to mention the other s3

also, sgs was longer on the market
so you are correct for the moment, but your comparison is flawed

and nokia is the only notable maker when it comes to "dumbphones", which make up over 80% of mobile phone sales

They dont have any competitive high-end device other than N8. Even if you combine N8, c6, c7, n900 sales, it will still be less than galaxy S.

As I told to people who want Symbian die that Symbian will not die since millions and millions people use and feel very comfortable with Symbian.
Nokia as a bussiness company, will they throw their bread and butter? Now who is the morron? you or Nokia?

Mobilemaster, 17 Mar 2011They have the plan to overtake Nokia by 2013! Google it ple... morethey have a plan?!
that makes it true? maybe for android, but not for samsung
android is used in a million phones and it is a matter of time
but when you look at phones from 2010, there were about 20more android phones introduced than symbian and symbian is still holding

im sorry, but android should have done much better with all those phones

nokia has lost market share mostly in smartphones, but its sales went up. its all relative
apple e.g. sold about 30% less smartphones than nokia, but its market share went up, while nokia's went down... so you see, its all relative

Possibly a C7-01, or C8? N8 is the last symbian3 under the N-series only (N950 aka N9 is Meego phone), doesnt mean other series will not get Symbian 3.

For most of you - You are Right. The N8 is the last Symbian3 phone but this time it will be a 32GB N8....lol....just a guess but I got a hunch that this is accurate, contrary to what is publis on the X7 or C7.

Nokia need a decent OS... Phone outlook is one thing, but without a decent OS, they will be left behind sooner or later. Don't stubborn, go Android or Windows Mobile 7 if you can't deliver a decent OS.
