ExpectingSumNew, 16 Mar 2011i hope they just give us a big surprise and release a meego... moreSadly, not all people like to showoff their phones. In fact only few people did. So as long as they used to use symbian, they won't bothered by it's UI. So if you want to showoff, wait the meego out. Nokia has their own schedule. So be patient.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2011I have Nokia N8 and it is the buggiest thing I ever had! tu... moreProof or it didn't happen!
I'm willing to bet that you don't own a Nokia N8, and that you've come up with all that rubbish just to try and troll .. fail.

Back to the topic in hand, it will probably be just another run of the mill device. But at least they're pushing out many devices to suit the needs of every day life.

NO! No More!! I AM STILL HURT, Nokia!!! you have just proved that you don't care!so just kill it and go away! I will have NO MORE of you!

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2011I have Nokia N8 and it is the buggiest thing I ever had! tu... moreSamsung could overtake Nokia, as you mentioned. By the way I don't really believe that they are the best, but they are very good. If you ask me which mobile phone company is the best, I consider 3 makers. Motorola, HTC, and Sharp(the problem is that Sharp phones are ONLY for Japan for now!) HTC is preparing something big for this year...

plz Nokia, bring on a Cortex A9 running Symbian3 device WITH a Qt based UX/UI(nt the stupid Avkon) and 512MB. Then clock it at 700Mhz, that wil b enough to bludgeon the 'droids te submission(since itz Symbian, if itz clockd at 1Ghz it'll be overkill)

Mick, 16 Mar 2011I thought they said that the N8 would be the last Symbian^3... moreConsidering that nokia has released three s^3 devices after the n8 and several other s^1 devices, i'ld say you're at a considerable information deficit.

I have Nokia N8 and it is the buggiest thing I ever had! turn it self off and on, suddenly freeze, strange noise in the speaker, multitasking do not work at all=freeze. Nokia Service team even refuse to repair it, they say "we can not find any thing wrong with your device" huh! Bad Bad Bad!

No more Nokia for me! Samsung is going to be the king soon.

Symbian is dead, who dares to buy a Symbian device today if it is gone tomorrow?

AnonD-37, 16 Mar 2011N9? New and over-hauled UI? They better pack A LOT of WOW f... moreGuys, there is NO N9 device! I said this on the N9 forum! The N9 is canceled, and the N950 will be announced... Nokia said that it has a very cool design! :) I hope that the specs are GOOD as well.

Well said. The questions is why do you need faster hardware with Symbian. No apps to use it anyway.

[deleted post]It's not that we hate it, it's really behind in terms of UI and UX. Yes, the OS got a lot of tricks and can do a lot but the execution is where it sucks. It's like the Jack of all trades but master of none. That's why it's steadily losing market share to Android an iOS. Nokia is on a steady decline since the iPhone and Android came out. Now even the investors are losing fate in Nokia.

Nokia have been very quiet in 2011 after all the buzz about the Microsoft deal, but they have got to show to people they are still bothered about advancing Symbian further, hope this is a new device an not the C7,we have just seen the X7 been circulating about again, but hope we do get something New to shock the others as we didn"t see nothing at all from Nokia at the Barcelona Conference to show they are still willing to compete with Samsung,Htc or the others,it might be the N9 or N8-01

I hope they will anounce updates of symbian ^3 to pr2.0 and new device with greater resolution of display wvga and better cpu arm a9 dual core. Or even new meego phone.

                                  I hope for all that.

[deleted post]Is that why even gsnarenas comment says that they hope its not another 8 mp fixes focus 680mhz arm 11 with nHD device? Gsmarena is tired of nokias rehashed junk. In the presence of harsh competition nokia still doesn't get it. If they did indeed put something new out. Its not due to innovation on their part, its due to increase competition from strong competitors. This is proven by their choice to jump to wp7. Don't forget nokia went to android first but google didnt feel nokia was worth squat so microsoft paid nokia 1 billion in advertisement to use their os. Nokia wanted android and wanted money google laughed at them and told them to pound sand.
