They all gotta be at something I guess. Poor iPhone users though since that's about all they get

This comment is being wrote on Z5 which I have to say is a dull uninspiring phone. Sony have all that R & D for the PlayStation and camera and TV market but never seem to capitalise on it in its mobile phone divisions!

The XZ Premium has a 4k screen but isn't compatible with VR!!! What a missed opportunity! They could have put 6 gig of Ram in another missed opportunity, Tell me the last time Sony phones came top of any benchmark tests? Probably not since the days they were partnered with Ericsson!

Sony just seem to be happy bubbling along in the crowd but don't seem to want to stand out from it!

Mi 6 already going to be released with same chipset next week. They could had just delay sd835 production and prioritized Exynos production instead if they were really evil. Even evil need to be a little smarter than that. That way nobody getting the chipset no matter what and still able to keep other company waiting while they released full exynos variants. Even more evil, they could just completely reject manufacturing chipset for Qualcomm. Good luck finding other factories that knows how to manufacture 10nm finfet process in large capacity.

Samsung played evil, not just smarter than your thought. Ditching Snapdragon could have given early access of SD835 to Samsung's competitors. Samsung took control of SD835 and left all other companies awestruck waiting and watching while Samsung is taking the huge chunk of the market share.

Glad my network only brings Exynos Samsungs these days to.

Sammy did a better than usual job with their unoptimizing of Snapdragon.
Gpu looks to be about the same as the 530.
                              Way to go, Sammy!
