Looks like it's gonna be another Mass Recall..... I'm so glad I totally stopped buying Samsung since my last product from them Note 4/S5.

Those red tinted panels were made a day when they were short on green and blue and the fix will say that that if the serial is between such and such then turn down the intensity of red.

Some people would love to see the World because of hatred , jealousy and not appreciating other’s works only their own. Samsung did a good job on s8 and the best thing is they acknowledge their problems and fixes them or at least try and not blaming customers.

My uk s8 plus has the red screen.infact I checkled 30 units and only 2 had good screens.I'm returning mine.ion xda forums the s8 red screen thread is up to 12 pages now.not 1 person has a good screen.it's 1 in 30 that will not have the pink red tint

Just check out iFixit teardown. Probably they had millions of batteries which were produced for Note 7 and preferred to be used here in this new unit. What a blank page to start. A new(!) beginning. Using such an expensive phone and continuously producing cortisol hormone due to having a stress of "when this will explode?"... Priceless experiences.

First they were saying there was no such issue and you can correct it within the settings, now they realized there is an issue and magically will patch it...,. next when it ends up hardware problem, you'll be asked to go exchange your device and the drama continues.

As I can see, the red pixel is over saturated and can be calibrated by software. Have you read S8+ review? Samsung called it high-saturation 'Deep Red' OLED. If it is a hardware issue then what exactly is broken? If the pixel is broken it should be dead then there would be no red. The blue and green pixel still works. Nothing is broken.
