In my opinion this is unacceptable according to the last fiasco Samsung should be more careful with that and I don't forget the supposed 'delay statement announcement' what a waste!

who cares if its software or hardware. as long as there fixing it and not blaming the consumers that there not using the phone correctly like apple does. geez. stop with the yapping. no one is dying coz of the red tint. it will not give you sore eyes or any viral infection. you people taking this a whole lot complicated.

AnonD-60230, 21 Apr 2017Don't worry.. Samsung will never accept their fault. I'm sure they will, they actually always do, they apologize nicely and act right about mistakes.
The funnier part is that I'm sure these phones were meant to be perfect and had hardcore quality assurance. Can't believe something like this slipped through. Samsung never had problems with their Amoleds before, to the point where all units were perfectly factory calibrated. It is not a software issue, changing the intensity of red will make for a horribly unbalanced panel, way off on color reproduction. There will be a lot of returns, again. I wonder what went wrong and how did this slip through after all the quality drama.

I thought S3 had a great design and even considered buying it back in the day but that's when i discovered samsung's bloatware. My last samsung phone was C5212. Never had an android samsung phone never will. Overpriced bloatware infested crap.

Just red tint on screen doesnt call for a recall. Lets see the software update first and if it is fixed then this bs stop. If not, the worst could happened is product exchanged at samsung store. Just like that stupid stuck spen issue. They never recall that one.
