I think HTC can do great if they try hard. Would be nice to see 5 devices per year..

This is probably THE least complicated name from the big Phone Manufacturers. But NO you'll complain anyway because that's all you can do.

I've capitalised and put asterisks around the name of the product lines from each company. With the exception of: Apple, Nokia (Android), Google, OnePlus and BlackBerry, all other naming schemes are either as complicated or more complicated than HTC's.
Just stop hating for no reason. If you have nothing of value to comment, don't comment.
The HTC U 11 is probably going to be the MOST INNOVATIVE phone of 2017 with the frame technology. If you disagree reply with which you think will be. (you'll be wrong whatever you reply. Hehehehehe. jk)

Hmm, U 11 sounds better than "One M" in my opinion. I think they should stick with this name.

I think HTC should make 3 phones: 1st for the average user like the HTC U line because this users prefer looks to specs (400$-600$), 2nd for the "Pro" android user the one that prefers the old HTC One M7/M8 they should listen/data mine what the consumers wants they should put everything on it no compromises but shouldn't exceed the 600$ (so some compromises????), the 3rd shoud be a combo good looks and good specs for that user that happens to have 1000$ laying around the house catching dust.
so
1- average user, reasonable price, good looking, lots of them
2- power user, not too expensive but not too cheap either, whatever amount suits them, exactly what that consumer wants
3- good looking and powerfull, expensive, limited edition

HTC's recent naming mess has been one of its Achilles heels. There is no consistency. When someone has iphone 7 they expect a 7s or 8. When someone has a Galaxy 7 they expect 8. When you have HTC 10 what do you expect??
