The only feature HTC needs to stand out in the market - a headphone jack equipped with killer DAC.

HTC need to build an USP, no one gonna buy HTC just because of its near to stock UI (how people can consider that) Product differentiation Is the key to survive in highly competitive market, may be HTC's managment don't know about this basic principle of Economics

Well, i think it is more important for HTC to focus mainly on the specs and aesthetics. Because to compete with the S8, G6, XZ Premium, P10Plus, etc, and all the upcoming flagships and flagship killers its not so easy. So i hope that the (U 11) will be equipped with the best specs of 2017 so far, and shrink those bezels as much as possible

Haters will always hate. The same haters complained when "M" was removed and named last years Flagship HTC 10 instead of HTC M10. Now they replaced "M" with "U" naming their next Flagship HTC U11, still complaining. Damn!! I can't believe this.

AnonD-506712, 21 Apr 2017I liked the "Ocean" codename better. It's trending. Codnames are so better than actual names (or actually, real names are worse than codenames) that one will love to call that thing with its codename. Remember blackberry mercury?

I miss the days when HTC had cool names for their phones like Dream/T-Mobile G1, Desire, Legend, Explorer, Thunderbolt (in the States), and Evo. Even Butterfly sounded decent.
