6.45inch this is great for gamer and movies. Adding the gaming buttons would be a great ideas, but the more important is the games resources and compatible with addition buttons support.

I actually don't really care about screen dimensions, would they come in 21:9 or 1:1, round, ecliptic or diamond shaped, as long as they include QHD or 4K resolution(if for flagships) and finally are not the same, so its hard and harder to recognize original face of some phone. I also like when entry-level phones get some new face or functions, a bit like what lg did in x series, so not just hi-ends end up being right/wrong experiment.
Let's hope it will help sony get rid of bezels, I wouldn't really like 21:9 phone with huge top and bottom bezel...

This also goes for curved Screens. Some People don't like them, they like flat Screens. The industry is trying to force things on us, especially in the flagship area.

I like it. Its is perfect. 21:9 will make the 6.4 inch display narrower and easier to hold in one hand. Its not any bigger than S8+ 6.2 inch. However, I do expect this new 21:9 ratio will be narrower than the 18:9. The 1080p resolution doesnt really bother me either. It will be FHD+ anyway. That means more than 344ppi in the original Z Ultra; probably close to 400ppi. The SD660 quite snappy according to the specs on paper. Hope it will be affordable. The first move to bezel less Sony.

Sony just need to put the fingerprint sensor on the back, even though i really like it on the side.

Not S8/S8+ level, but slightly more than G6 level will do (80% will be nice)
Get rid of side bezels already just like the XA series
Fingerprint Scanner can just be adjusted lower than the LCD screen since it's not too thick as we're thinking, and that extra thickness addition would definitely help for the increase of battery capacity

This has the design used last year, same of X and X Performance.
All phones this year have XZ style...

IMO Sony should just add capacitive buttons to the existing design to make use of the bezel space and allow full use of the 16:9 screen.

There is no need to make smartphones unnecessarily look like lightsaber, unless its intended to be used like that. 16:9 aspect ratio is JUST PERFECT for enjoying wide angle videos and further widening is NOT REQUIRED at all.
Sony can simply cut out its THICK Bezel on all sides and remove logo from its earpiece to make it look like extra large widescreen. But, how come those idiots will understand this in era of copycat.

Frankly, I don't like the push towards longer screens, especially when we had a widely-used standard in 16:9. First LG, then Samsung, now Apple and Sony are rumoured to jump into the trend too.
I don't need smartphone that look like lightsabers, especially when I already own the latter! :P

Movies in cinemas are in 21:9 ratio, but those movies are originally in 16:9 ratio and were just upscaled to that ratio, so I guess this is not a bad idea at all
This large screen with wide ratio would be a huge help for most
For instance, we can now multitask with 3 apps at once instead of only just 2
In the camera, other than we can have a large space for a lot of manual controls, we can split the screen into two modes: Photo and Video, which means we can take photos while recording videos, because the current solution today is just a screenshot of the video, which isn't as high quality as the true camera resolution (video only uses up to 8mp)

I would prefer the Univisium aspect ratio (18:9/2:1) since it actually has some industry support and makes things a lot simpler.
It has support from LG with the G6. Also Netflix(House of Cards)
