If it'll be 21:9 ration then good for watching movies and maybe gaming will also benefit but rest of the media won't scale well as they are 16:9. Looks interesting but probably won't be for everybody. Also the 3000 mAh battery on 6" phone is disastrous, should be 4000 mAh at least.

I'm one of those former Z Ultra user.
This thing is cool (albeit battery should be bigger), Sony should learn from the concept photo and sense what we expect them.
Mid-range SoC SD660 isn't an issue, considering how good current SD625 is.. besides 660 will have flagship grade cortex-A73 in it

I hope this elongated screen crap is fake. I hate it so much. I only believe in normal smartphone aspect ratios.
Its Samsung and LG that started this shit and i hope it doesn't spread anywhere else.

I don't want even to hear about these stupid ULTRA-TALL screens! So the hard to reach 18.5/9 screen of S8 wasn't enough, we need to see 21/9 screen to feel how stupid it can get...ok, why not do 27/9 like 3/1 ? Maybe even make it bent to one side and use it as a frisbee to entertain the dog!

This is just a concept photo....Kaz Hirai said they gonna stay in 16:9 apect ratio...tall display are ridicolous.But lg know how to use 18:9 display and it is better than Samsung 18.5:9...also sony xperia x has curve corner but people use to call it brick or box...did people see what is the different of x and xz?xz has sharp corner and x has curve corner but people still said that are boxes
