It's quite EPIC FAIL that keep on producing lots of phone with OS that people not fascinate.
We wait Nokia to announce Symbian3 to fully support Android Apps! Then, it means something.
i personally dont like android cuz it's too heavy and lack of lots of stuff. but the android apps make it complete and perfect!!
But when a simple symbian3OS to fully support Android Apps. That's a Winner!
If not. sorry. I dont see potential turning point for Symbian or Nokia even with Windows7/8.

G0C3, 06 Apr 2011Hello to everyone. Nokia is loosing the battle for market s... moreso you are saying that Nokia should make pirated software easy to install?
Nokia did a good job by making for people to use pirated software which is illegal by the way. if you buy Guinean software the installation is as easy as in iOS or an Android

looking forward to it...
had experience using SAMSUNG/MOTO/SE/APPLE and comparing user friendliness nokia still wins...trust me when i let other people use my SAMSUNG/MOTO/SE/APPLE i need to explain first how to do things but with my nokias i just hand it over and no questions...anyone can use it...or its easy for them to figure out how to operate it.
every OS has its highlights and lowlights, what matters is what OS suites your preferences...

Hello to everyone. Nokia is loosing the battle for market share with their non-secure software path of their telephones. Same like Motorola did. So Nokia is worried and make contract with Microsoft. Other bad thing about Symbian OS (because I had several models)is that is pain in the as*, with installation of additional software. If you are not good with computers there is no chance of installation of new software, unless the prone is unlocked (cracked) to install software without those symbian tricks and signings of the instillation files. Note one thing why android, iOS are so popular, because of their user friendly menu and installation of additional software and their logical menu. So until Nokia made some big changes with their phones and OS, will sinks like Motorola did few years ago.

Nagol, 06 Apr 2011The hate for nokia and symbian is beyond ridiculous and pat... moreIn techworld if something goes successful it's not because of gimmick. Because it's great.
If Android relies on mere gimmick it will never going to be on the top right now and still rising.
You're thinking and attitude is as old as Symbian.

[deleted post]The hate for nokia and symbian is beyond ridiculous and pathetic. And it's always the android trolls. I used to think the iphone fans were bad, but oh damn did android take the crown or what!! Symbian 3 is a pretty good platform. Android's success is a gimmick and is only successful because of flooding the market going to every network and phone brand.
Nokia phones are way better than android's terrible battery life phones. Nokia also has it's own identity. Why the hell would they go android just to be with SE, HTC, Motorola, LG and Samsung? I mean yeah some of those brands do have WP7, but atleast Nokia has their own OS that they're coming out with along with Samsung with bada. Innovation is always great for competition.

Symbian was used in Nokia, SE, Samsung and Motorola devices, but because Symbian wasn't user friendly, not intuitive and even no major improvement was done, they leaved Symbian. The real company's symbol OS are Bada, iOS, MeeGo and WebOS.

Honestly, I gave up on Nokia after the last major event where they changed the whole world around by not announcing the N9 but giving up on Meego completely. At least HTC will have one thing different from Nokia - they will be announcing some phones.
