The higher graphic score seems fit for the demanding 4K screen.

I can just imagine how upcoming Huawei Kirin 965 or rather 970 will trump all this SOCs!! Because I can see how the old kirin 960 is giving all the latest SOCs a run for there money!!!

Apple is still a beast when it comes to single core. This is all thanks to TSMC using intel's structure to make the A10 run fast.

            #KirinMasterRace!

A SoC from 2016 is on par with 2017s offerings.

I mean what's the point? It's the same SD835 as anybody else's. It's the least interesting part of the phone. Every day performance is much more interesting. App launch times, Ram retention, GUI average FPS (existence or absence of lags), game FPS.

You know, the kind of performance that is actually relevant to users and actually varies wildly between phones despite both having the same SoC. So you can have two phone scoring the same in benchmarks yet one being wildly faster than the other. That shows that benchmarks are not really useful on phones. Tests like the above are and I hope gsmarena will start doing them. Along with band speed tests.

I find it funny that this doesn't have op5 on the list, and the op5 test doesn't have this phone on its test. Maybe both tests are fake?

To make it as brief as possible. At least the most important is that it is: snappy, runs cool and that in the real life it is a pleasure to use.

Even worse when you put just 2GB of RAM and a tiny 8GB storage... But in general Sony phones run smooth because of the near-stock skin...if our M4 Aquas had a heavy skin like Samsung's it would have been a lot worse

We know that 835 is just marginally faster than 821, but lets see if the power efficiency promise holds up in the battery life... Good to know that 835 is cool under use.

I see that you are reviewing the XZ Premium against it's father, the Z5 Premium! Wise choice, indeed! Let's see if the father trumps the son in the battle of 4K screens! :P

And the the MX Player shortcut on the home screen.... Another wise choice. This is after all a phone made for media consumption! :P
