This is typical of what is happening in the business world and especially in certain cultures such as CHINA. Yes, I said it. TYPICAL IN CERTAIN CULTURES.
Then, when caught, they explain it away.
I was considering purchasing this phone but no more. I won't support unethical organizations.
I encourage others to consider what type of corporate citizen is providing a product before you support them and purchase their product.

Many, many, so many people care about benchmark scores. That is one of the most significant reasons why benchmark scores keep happening.

horrible design copy...
-they have cut cost by keeping it design similar to oppo's latest phones so they can share same assembly line... -cheat with benchmark figures.. -under clock CPU/GPU
-and still increased the price....now touching 500+... they should be internationally banned... there are better phones available... mediatek phones are low on benchmark figures but I suppose would be honest in their behaviour at least... and they are still cheaper... we all should think twice before even considering such devices.... just let it die its natural dead...!!!

But here You have many spammers sent probably by the ...OP and other similar companies that cheat. It may also bea few blind stupids defenders this company. Unfortunately, practically everyone is playing like that and what is worst is the people who defending cheaters.

Anyway, there no justification to show the "full" capabilities of the cpu/gpu.
So long as you do check for "benchmark apps", then do something else is dishonest!
Its like you buy a blazing phone, thinking you got a GOOD deal! CPU and GPU are beasts in benchmarks!.. Only then to discover your phone lags and perform worse then others in daily everyday usage

Don't Say about Limiter speed Because LIMIT speed is already given (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo)
So Using it's Full Clock Speed is not Over speeding
Qualcomm can Configure the clock speed of all 8 cores as fast as 2.45 GHz but they Won't due to lack Power efficiency and Marketing Strategy - NEXT GENERATION'S INNOVATION - wahaha..

I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sure the industry will show up one plus for what it is.
I would never buy these cheap Chinese wannabees, They can aspire to be up there with the best but there continuous cheating just shows they can never be trusted.
Just imagine what there customer service is like!
I'm a firm believer in most of the time you get what you pay for.....

I am surprised that some people let this slip or did not understand how bad this is. No matter how much of a fan of a brand you are, this is horrible behavior. When the big brands did this back in the days, they were called out for it and stopped. Years later the "hollier than thou" OnePlus does this and to a larger extent, after they got their yellow card for it already last year. Its really disappointing.
