Camera megapixels evolve too quick... moreThere wont be any significant new battery technology except for the introduction of carbon nanotubes, which, are still in its infancy (remember, cost matter, and for now battery made out of carbon nanotubes aren't economically viable)
And always keep in mind that any advances in mobile CPU, the manufacturer will try to keep the power consumption down. Just look at Tegra2 CPU, it consume the same amount of power as a single core Snapdragon ;)

I would suggest that those who don't know what they are talking about... Don't post at all.
1. Before you start making comparisons to x86 (that's desktop and laptop CPUs), understand that architecturally they are different, so you can't make a comparison and say "Oh they are both quad core and 2.5Ghz so they will be equally fast". Expect a Sandy Bridge Core i7, even clocked at 1Ghz, to crush a 2.5Ghz Quad-Core A15, due to superior instructions per clock.
2. Batteries may not evolve as fast, but just because CPUs are adding core count and clock speed doesn't mean battery life will be adversely affected. As manufacturing die processes shrink (eg. 40nm -> 32nm -> 28 nm), power draw per transistor decreases, so overall you would expect either the same power draw, or lower.
Remember that these engineers know what they are doing. It's laughable to think that layman consumers know better than engineers with degrees and years of experience.

OMG:O next time we dont need to buy a computer, because smartphones and tablets will do everything that an computer can do... I think true extinction of desktops is began ...

There's no need to run al 4 cores in mobile mode, but when plugged into laptop-type dock or desktop-type dock, I want to be able to run full scale desktop type OS and to use powerful applications.
Computer in your pocket? Great!!!
In a couple of years I hope to see 16-core smart phones, or a smartphone with two 8-core processors, and I, most definitely, will want one.

At least they are showing progress not like a certain company who keeps on making phones with outdated 680 MHz processors and pairs them with an OS on life support.
This is a forward progress not like the sideways progress of the almighty brand.

I'm I the only one that thinks this is getting out of hand.
SGS and Iphone 4 for instance, with their single core processors, run butter smooth, and play great games, don't get me started on Apple A5, exynos and tegra 2.
Then why in the world would phones need 2.5 Ghz quad core processors. I mean seriously.
Look at android, Gingerbread is faster than froyo, which is faster than eclair, they are making the OSes faster, even symbian, so what's the need of these insane chips.
