As I mention in previous post, it is just panel quality not up to best, same issue appeared on my galaxy s4 or earlier amoled models, to be honest never bothered me and I don't think so it is big issue, but considering it is 2017 and amoled panels advance so much since 2013, and no such issue I found on my s6 or s8, tells what one plus really failed with this putting cheap screen panel on their flagship killer, not so "killer" after all

AnonD-681515, 02 Jul 2017The A7 doesn't have this halo effect.What I meant is that the display on the OnePlus 5 is the same display that is on the A7 2016. I did not mention anywhere that the halo effect is present on the A7 2016 too. So this just means OnePlus have to do a proper calibration of the screen since they have installed it upside down.

This means that it is not a hardware issue but the way OnePlus chose to place the display upside down. So it has to do with poor calibration of the display.

The Huawei P10 Plus also has that effect. I think it is the screen's refresh rate not fast enough. I sold my P10 Plus and traded it for a S8. No more issues with S8. Superbly fast.

I might buy the new iPad Pro just for that feature alone. Ever since I saw it, using my iPad or even my smartphones makes me wish they all had that technology. I really hope the next iPhone has it.

My point was that this happened before, on devices (brands) with way more reputation and process / component quality.
Also, what does this effect have to do with the processor (I really don't know, please explain?), should'n it be a matter of some software adjustments, or screen replacement?

It was cancelled due to the fact that 2K screen doesn't make sense for such a screen size below 5.5".
Z4 Tablet is definitely a great tablet, and that is because it wasn't skipped from a numerical generation
