Randel jeremy, 01 Aug 2017And that's the stupidest thing to do for us that doesn't do... moreI was just trying to help. If you're unable to save your data that's your problem.
Clearly you don't have the technical skills. Otherwise you wouldn't be whining like a little baby.
By the way, titanium backup is ancient technology. I have the solution to your problem but you don't deserve to know it. That's what you get: karma.

A non-bloated and gimmick-free TouchWiz/GraceUX/Samsung Experience whateveryoucallit would still not perform as good as that of Sony's Timescape UI or Xperia Home, mainly because of optimization.

Z5 compact: I and my friend (also z5 compact but white :-) ) experienced this troubles. After restart everything was OK but after few hours something went wrong and CPU usage was always at 50%+ and as a consequence phone was almost unusable and hot. Restart fixed for half a day and then story repeated.

Once (when it looked that phone is OK) camera app crashed when ever I pressed the shutter - instead of taking the picture the camera just closed. This was happening until I restarted the phone.

Issue seems resolved now. (without any system update). But I was unable to identify what was the cause of this problems...

Randel jeremy, 01 Aug 2017And that's the stupidest thing to do for us that doesn't do... moreNo, his comment is not garbage. The phones that don't have an option to create a local, offline backup of app data are garbage phones with useless, garbage Android. The Google and other online sync is useless, not a real backup (in other words, it's not a local offline backup). Don't support the manufacturers who don't give you an option/feature to make offline local backups.

Alien , 01 Aug 2017I'm not an expert but I have a great deal of experience wit... moreAnd that's the stupidest thing to do for us that doesn't do the root thing, we can't back up our data via TB because we don't have root permission, so how's our app data if we do clean install? You're comments are garbage by the way, its a total bs.

I have a Sony Z5 Compact..and I have experienced no problems or any of those problems at all, it runs smoothly and the temperature is mostly relatively cool, expect when I play games like World Of Tanks then it gets a little warm..So I have no problems at all.
For those users that are experiencing these problems, I am sure that Sony will fix that very soon :)

I was surprised after buying a Xperia X how much bloated stock Sony phones are and nobody talk about that. Hardware is nice, but software needs to be cleansed.

I'm not an expert but I have a great deal of experience with rooting phones and updating. If you don't want to experience any issues:
                              - first save all your data on your PC or SD card
                              - do a hard reset (erase everything on your phone)
                              - then update your phone
Performing a dirty update ( updating over existing data) will occasionally bring bugs and other issues, no matter what model or brand it may be. That is why it is important to do a clean update.
                              Peace!

I have the z4 tablet. Terrible Bluetooth battery drain on Nougat 7.0 and 7.1.1.
Sony still haven't fixed this yet! Bluetooth drains about 80 to 85% of the battery consistently. Tried factory reset when I was on 7.0 but it made no difference.
Worked flawlessly on Lollipop and Marshmallow.

The lock screen is intermittent when swiping up only...cpu governor underclocking and affecting the touch ap on the xperia launcher ..also why would you enable quick launch
features from within the lock screen...!!!...for some unscrupulous felon to pull down menu and disable location wifi and data..or even turning off the device ...
