Well, I will be happy to get my hands on the Nokia W series with WP7/8!!

But for now I will hope to get the C7 or X6, maybe with any luck an N8 or X7.

Android for now is out of my league, still cool phones, but for now I will wait to see the path of tech in android wagon.

But I still more loyal to Nokia, may be they don't make the faster or most techiest phones, but still a good company with a solid name an good maked phones (I really love metal & plastic C7 and N8 or the coolest design of the E7).

Well I'm pretty sure Nokis is going to make a good phones over WP7 or WP8 no doubt on it...

Nokia W series will be something good on Nokias path, is not trying to get Samsung or other companies path, is triying to make their own.

Nokia never believes in breaking the 1 GHz barrier since their OS don't need it at all. Now with WM things are different.

Android needs a lot of power too keep the OS happy and lagging free, but, is very absurd every time the make and update you need to trash your phone to get another, since they don't make updates for every phones..examples in the same Samsung or Motorola or Sony or LG, etc..

If you have 1 year old samsung you can't upgrade to newer Android OS since the specs are changing...

And don't tell me is "innovation" because is NOT is just pure marketing and a poor excuse to make all people buy a new item only for some whistles and bells.

Too bad, and in Nokias path they still working great with the same OS, don't need major updates..

I like Android phones, in fact I want a Droid X or wait for a new Droid 4G for verizon, but I'm not sure if my new and shiny phone will be a candidate for Android 2.4 :(, even If I purchase my phone 3 months from the update, because Google don't like update phones, they like see their new OS versions only in new phones...and not everyone has the money to get a new phone every 6 months..

AnonD-2663, 22 May 2011"f Android didn't come along then we will be stuck wit... moreDo you realize that Elop got to where he is because of the Board of Directors at Nokia? They are the ones who put him on his job as CEO. They realized that they are losing marketshare and their flavour of Symbian just don't cut it anymore. They looked for a new CEO who will lead them with a new strategy and they chose Stephen Elop because the board thinks that he presents a solid plan to make Nokia competitive against Apple and the Android horde.

To blame the guy for Symbian's demise is short sighted. Nokia's Board of Directors liked his strategy so we can say that Nokia itself signed the demise of Symbian.

You said S^3 is great and just needs time to mature, well, Nokia doesn't have the time needed to wait for it to mature hence their approval of Elop's strategy. Nokia themselves knows that they don't have the time.

The 5800 uses a resistive display. Resistive displays have bad sunlight visibility at low brightness settings.
