Samsung went really crazy. I called them to order the phone with trade in offer as I am a former Note 7 owner. The eligible trade in phones list contain galaxy s5 but not Note 4/Edge which actually were released after s5 and were more expensive. Also, I know a lot of people were about to upgrade to note 7 from note 4/Edge but they hold off because of the fiasco. They would definitely take this opportunity to trade in but they are not eligible. I emailed Samsung, let's see what they say. I don't want to trade in my s7 edge for note 8 but I would do for Note Edge I have doing nothing in the house.

I am from India. I bought Note 7 last year and returned note 7 to Samsung service centre. Still I have the copy of submission. Am I eligible to get discount in India..? Samsung should explain these thing about your customer...

This is unfair. I understand what happened with the Note 7 and as a result was pulled from ever launching here in the UK to avoid the same fate. But for the Note 8 to be shy of just under £900 is ludicrous.
