Great AMOLED.. i work at a phonestore where we display all phones for our customers... and guess what, ALL samsung phones have burnt in screens, even the Galaxy S8 and S8+ already have it, phone is only 4 months old.. damn how great are those screens..

The same thing was said about QHD. Meanwhile the Note 4's super clear very bright Amoled QHD 5.7 display consumed overall less energy than even smaller, dimmer 5 inch and under and even 720p LCD's.

LCD more versatile? And Oled only looking good in some cases???? Especially in TV?
Actually that is terribly incorrect. In fact the larger the display gets the more apparent the advantages of the Oled tech become. So if they are superior and great on 6 inches just imagine how much that scale increases on 40-80 inch displays. Considerably.
Amoled can be just as color accurate or more saturated, better contrast, viewing angles, blacks, is bendable, faster response times, overall lower power consuming, yada yada.
And if you put it next to and LCD tv both around 50 inches you will see massive differences. How does any of this put at being worse for tvs or less versatile.
It is exactly what makes it more versatile and much better for tvs.
And LG actually has a major advantage for Oled tech. Clear or white pixel tech and patents. Something they kind of hold over Samsung as their only bing trump card over Samsung's Oled tech.

Yeah It only took about 5 years and for devices with significantly higher brightness to top it.....But it's not relevant. Even though in some aspects it's camera is also still a top player.
I hate this world sometimes.
