A lack of USB OTG and File explorer plus app restrictions kills it for me.
I really hope the S9 ditches Bixby. Not a fan of the all glass either.
Never had a mark on my GN4. Have a couple of small scratches on the S8+.

This is exactly why you never buy anything recently released from Samsung. I'll wait at least two years to buy something from them. Besides all the quality control issues, depreciation will be less.

I find this information credible for two reasons: (1) the LG G7 is expected to be announced in January (possible at the 2018 CES), and (2) recent talk of Samsung manufacturing the next generation Snapdragon 670 SoC with next generation CPU & GPU sharing defined architecture with the Snapdragon 845. Samsung and other companies want to increase sales in at price levels just below flagship prices. Looks to be a happy new year indeed :-) .

I know exactly what people will say when S9 is released. "S9 is basically Note8 without an spen". The same way how people said, "Note8 is basically S8 with an spen". Every year I hear the same comment from techies.

Weird decision. Galaxy S8 Active is going to be factory unlocked the second week of November. So it will be less than two months from the last of the S8's being released to the first of the S9's.
Just a weird decision.
Or maybe they are going to terminate the ATT exclusivity deal early for the S8 Active.

Samsung will take the hit anyways with their ridiculous pricing of Note 8. Just because apple prices their phones way more than it deserves does not mean samsung had to go that way to fight against iphone 8. They just lost the fight already.
And not sure why GSM Arena thinks iphone 8 will be such huge hit ... its $1000+ price tag ..not everyone will buy these. Still iPhone 7s and 7s plus will outsell iphone 8.

For what reason ? GSMarena making it sounds like Samsung's current flagship is below the upcoming iphone 8 while actually it's Apple following Samsung this time around and with Note 8 around the corner i don't see Samsung spewing out another flagship in 5 months time. Samsung has to worry about the lesser brands like Xiamo and Huawei nevermind Apple as they have a cult of people who buys anything they release even if they release the iphone 1 and call it iphone 8 they would still believe it's the best phone ever i think Samsung is pass that time.

I upgrade every 3 years, this will be a decent upgrade from my Galaxy S6.
