Merwyn Fernandes, 02 Oct 2017As you said yourself that the phones have become slow and b... moreYou give me headaches. I paid € 700 for the phone and € 40 for the Anker. I didn't say it's buggy or slow. If you read carefully, I said it is still fast. And as I said, I don't really care for the battery if I have a powerbank, like most people today. And I already made my Experiences (pun) with the Xperia M4 Aqua. It costed € 300, it was 3 years newer, it had the latest SD615. Still, it was slower, had less camera which needs 5 seconds to take a photo, problems over problems because Sony (like every other company) mostly just cares about their flagships, and the cheap phones get the cheap Chinese low end tech. It got slower RAM than my iPhone, imagine that. It was made from plastic, not premium materials like the iPhone which is made from metal and glass. And it would be the same if I today bought an iPhone 6s or Galaxy S7 for € 400. Note the following words: Mid range and low end phones will never reach high end phones, because with the high end phone, the company put all their effort into it to make it the best, while the low end is just there to give people the brand name and design at a lower price, while offering inferior tech. You can see this with displays, as I said with cameras, the quality is just not there if you buy a phone for € 200 which costed € 200 at the beginning. If you buy a phone for € 200 which costed € 600 at the beginning, it's fine. If I'm honest, I would have preferred an iPhone 4s over this. And I can say that other phones in this price range aren't much different from the Xperia still today. Some of them got a metal unibody, but the performance is still sub par and the not-so-noticeable things still suffer from cost-cutting, those which I said what for example are display, camera, RAM (not the amount, the speed), storage (not the amount, the speed which is reeeeeaaaally important, the switch from HDD to SSD on PC was night and day), materials, flashlight, software support and so on.
I'm reading on blogs since 5 years, and if you don't listen to me now, you will get it in the future.
And btw, the iPhone SE is not such a phone, it is made of old high end tech and new high end tech and an old high end design, but there is no sign of new-but-cheap tech. This is an example how an affordable phone should be, which is just an old flagship. If I had € 200 to spend on a phone, I would go to eBay and buy a used high end phone from a resale company.

SpiritWolf, 02 Oct 2017Thank You for the reminder but i won't. Symbian would be li... moreSorry to burst your bubble, but if there's something we've learned with all the years of Symbian's reign is that (if it still existed today) it would have been pretty much the same it was one decade ago. It disappeared from market not due to some conspiracy theory, but rather due to its inability to keep-up with the times.
It was by no mistake that Symbian once took the world, but then it also was no mistake that Symbian had to be put down... BlackBerry and iOS were the real nails in its coffin, by the time Android caught on you had a "zombie" OS, begging for mercy to be put-down.

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2017wake up!! it's 2017Thank You for the reminder but i won't. Symbian would be like tons better by now, compared to Android, and i even don't start with MeeGo. Just one example. Show me Android phone that can code and decode 1080p videos and 40Mpx photos using single core ARM11 chipset. You can't. Really, i don't want to bu 800E gadget only because opsystem is ineffective to boot.
