I'm not buying. I'm not in love with Google HDR+ algorithm. HDR always makes photos look yellowish in low light. Overrated af. Doesn't mean the Pixels doesn't take nice photos. They do. One of the best out there. But I wouldn't call them the best. Wished the LG manufactured Pixel 2 XL had wide-angle.
Don't trust DxO. Just wait for SuperSaf and Krystal Key comparisons. MKBHD will also provide a blind test.

Just watch michael fisher and supersaftv they make real and honest camera reviews so far nothing bests the Note 8 and Pixel 2 is no exception. DxOMARK is biased they don't provide anything how they done the test.

Either gsmarena or dxomark is completely wrong, because according to dxomark iphone 8+ has better camera then iphone 8 and note 8 but gsmarena picture compare tool clearly shows iphone 8+ camera is worst among three.

Very weird camera score, when did they test it? It took almost a month to test note 8. And the grades are weird too... same thing with the pixel last year. :) in Romania the phone still costs an arm and a leg and is not available :)) a year from launch.

I think Nokia 9 with Carl zeis lens will be better, Nokia was the first with excellent camera phone n9, 808 41 mp camera phone

Even if you shoot RAW, these presets are applied, but you can change them to your liking, if you want.
Yes, they are different worlds, but not because of what you wrote.
