People like to cry about things. Like Bezels, after that issue is resolved they will cry about battery thickness. After that issue, they will cry about not having a life.

This should have been the specs for Google 2XL ... With all the stuff and stereo speakers.
Google 2XL really disappointing for the price.

Without a 3.5 mm headphone jack it is impossible to listen to music, using headphones, when the battery is charging! The small adaptor cable will easily sooner or later be lost! There is NOTHING good about not having any 3.5 mm headphone jack!

Children will look for any reason to complain at something if it doesn't have a Samsung or Apple logo on it. The people are complaining about the headphone jack complain now, but when the s9 removes it, BAM, you'll see a surge of fanboys ready at defense. I see comments on the bezels, at 78% s:b, I didn't hear complains for the MiMix at 79%. Or for the G6 at 78% too. No comment on the awesome software at hand? No comment on impeccable audio. No comment on one of the best cameras for pictures and records. No comments on huge battery. Nope, because unless it's Sammy or Apple, the only thing people will comment are complaints.

Wow, a very beautiful phone. Reminds me of some prior classic HTC phone ads from the pic. Anyway well done. The U11 was already a great, unique eye catching look so this is a nice iteration. Good choice on super 6 glass. Many benefits their and bright like oled. Anyway congratulations.

Shame on HTC for not releasing this in the U.S. Shame on HTC for not returning the headphone jack. Other than that, this looks like a win if durability has been corrected.

people cry about not having 3.5 just because they don't have a phone without the jack.
i've a 4 drive earphones with 3.5 jack that cost me +350 euros and i've an htc u11. i was suprised with the quality of the earphones provided in the box, they are ofc lower quality than i've but to go out in the street or even on holidays it's my choice. now i've 2 good earpads, one to go with the phone, other to listen in the home. i've already broken expensive earphones on holidays not going to use the news on holidays again) please note that i could use it with the htc u11. i just dont use it because the earphone provided are "good enough" for everyday use. if you need or have audiophile headphones (i've also) most probably you will not listen to music from your phone.
do you see people on the street with earphones? usually what brand they use? 99% will use the earphones that are provided with the smartphone, and in that prespective, the ones from htc are much better than the rest and for this 99% they will much better served. really don't know why people complain about the no jack thing when they will get better sound and earpads on the box they use currently.

Looking on the HTC site the translucent U11+ looks very desirable
