You have to go to apps>special access>ignore optimisation, select the corresponding apps, make it allowed. It is the cons and a bit hassle to do it, but at least it has solution. They should improve on next emui dont let it be default. Let us make the choice.

Have a Honor 8 that I am happy with, this will for sure be my next phone if it deliver on the specs and price.
Much better price point than 10 Pro.
